Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson has passed away - Page 58

From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today.

But one of the things I took away from CatZ' video was, that if I could just stop the pain, I wouldn't want it. Neither Incontrol nor CatZ met me (though Incontrol replied to a tweet once, and some time ago I donated $5 to CatZ when he streamed) but I now know that we don't have all to know each other personally in order to have a community. Don't know what else to say. I shared the reason of my sadness with some friends, feeling silly to explain. Then noticed that to real friends, it doesn't have to be explained.

Started digging into some of the customizables you can do today, and came across the announcer packs, something I hadn't seen before. My heart was not ready to hear Geoff's and TotalBiscuit's voices again. I want to use them, but I don't think I'd be able to concentrate with their voices pulling on my heart strings the entire game.

The fact that I won't be able to watch and enjoy his content really saddens me. I loved him in Rollplay and Swan Song. I know he did other Rollplay shows, what would someone recommend me to watch? As sad as I will feel, I think it will be good to remember and honor him. Check out blades, IMO his best character from all the rollplays and cast gels together great

Introducing Stephano with this "film", while his contract was rumored some days before, still works. I just finished watching The Pylon Show 59. Was able to compose myself, until the last seconds, when Incontrol and Artosis hugged. What a loss. After all these weeks, I am speechless. Today was the day I switched the announcer from Lowko to Incontrol again. Somehow, a part of him lives on.

I haven't posted or streamed here on TL for nearly 8 years but reading that 8 felt the need to. I've been playing BW since 2000 under the alias ''Teacher'' and I actually had coaching from Incontrol back around 2003 if I remember correctly. I was 15 at that time. He was such a nice dude for the little that I knew of him and helped me to become a better player. I've always highly respected him as a human being & player. You'll be missed bud. My condolences goes out to all his family, friends and fans around the world. 😢
