From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today.

It doesn't seems he had any, he was a big fellow, he was surly lifting weights and this means that he had some sort of healthy diet. So....wtf....still can't believe it. Wtf.... Im trying to figure that out myself. He missed HSC due to health reasons, he tweeted about an infection that needs medical attention... but after that he said he was released from the hospital, and is feeling well, tweeted about being back to the gym on the first of July. Just last week he hosted the pylon show, he seemed fine to me. I can't wrap my head around it, truly a thunder-strike out of the clear blue sky.

He once told he actually did have a rather serious condition where his blood clutters more easily or something like that and that it was hereditary. So he advised people to not sit too long in their chairs and get up and exercise. No idea if this has anything to with this nor do I want to speculate.

if you get a staph infection on the end of your finger its considered really serious... so an infection that far inside your body.. its probably way worse.

Goeff took good care of himself, didn't underestimate anything. Even pro athletes die suddenly and those people are under way better monitoring. Sometimes there's a well hidden problem. So I think it's time to wait for the reveal from family/friends and stop speculating.

I'm hoping they release some details. If it is something related due to sitting too much as Geoff has said in the past, I spend most of the day sitting myself. Hopefully this turns into a learning experience for those in similar professions and circumstances.

For this you have treatments that work very well, anti coagulation pills or shots. Pregnant women who are suspicious of this cluttning issue get this kind of treatment. At this point , we can only speculate but man this is so fucking unbelivable. Is life fair?...nope it's not. Imagine there are thousand of cases like this where apparently healthy young people die all of sudden. Life has a strange way of balacing shit around.
