Not because Korean is a superrace, its because they have teamhouses and play vs best players all the time, and also in real life not online. It would be a BIG change if the EU or NA starts to make a very large teamhouse, or some teamhouses in about the same area. Players who really want to go pro and dont want school or work, and they are worth it for a team, they can join in the house. All teams should be in around the same area, i know its weird for us, wich country should we choose? or wich state in the US. But i think thats the only way we will ever get as good as the Koreans. And that is to make a total sc2 invirement, so that there is always place for full time practise vs the best. Then the extra we get is, we get LIVE league like in Korea. I bet Wardii would get 4000 more vieuwers at least, if the league was live, proberly more over time. Just guessing and i aint sure if its worth it. We as the public should pay for that in one way or another, i hope that its possible. Sorry its little offtopic, But to say in every topic a Korean stops in the EU or NA for this reason and say Blizzard is making this game dead is stupid. They are trying something to even prevent that. I dont like that EU players dont have a chance to win BIG moneys, why would they even practise hard?

In fact, Patience’s great run ended up with him not being able to apply for and receive a visa for Switzerland, hindering his planned move to Switzerland. Does anyone understand the relationship between being successful in Korea and not getting a visa in Switzerland? Patience couldn't get a visa because he was actually not in Switzerland, but rather spending his time in Korea? If so, that makes sense to me (from a Swiss visa issuance point of view). But then again, I have heard some stories about Switzerland and visa, indicating Catch 22-scenarios being pursued to keep people out of the country... This was a few years back admittedly, but I wonder if the country has become less restrictive in handing out visas in the meantime. ...err, and now let's see, all of you that blame Blizzard and the WCS system for the Swiss visa rules, raise your hands...

Not sure about Afreeca and Samsung.

Some people commenting here clearly don't watch PL/aren't familiar w/ the current rosters. JAGW, KT, and SKT are all loaded at P and have zero need. The two teams that make the most sense are CJ and MVP. From a standpoint of pure need, CJ w/ their threadbare roster (only 5 players while Bbyong is out), makes the most sense. Hush seems to be a much better coach/practice player than actual PL performer. So Patience could easily take his current starting spot (2nd P after herO). A lineup in R2 of herO, Byul, Patience, and Ragnarok starting w/ Bunny and Hush in support (until Bbyong hopefully returns soon) could be a big improvement over their disastrous R1. MVP also is a logical choice, despite their larger roster (far too T heavy). They already have two core starters in GumiGod and Departure, but their other slots are largely rotational. Patience should be an improvement over their current P (Blaze and Seed) and would be a nice rotation regular. A lineup in R2 of GumiGod, Departure, Patience, and alternating 4th slot between Forte/Blaze w/ Ryung, Seed, and Pet in support should be an improvement over their winless R1. AF currently has a very small roster and is in need of improved talent and depth at both Z and P. They already have Super (getting a lot of run in R1, to mediocre results) and Billowy, so not sure if they'd want to add a 3rd P. But Patience should be able to quickly become their top P option and would be a solid addition to their current Alive, Curious, Bomber/Keen core. Samsung would have made a lot of sense last season (before the WCS changes), since they were known for sending their higher profile players to frequent overseas tournaments to increase brand/team exposure and visibility. They have a deep and talented lineup (T heavy) despite surprisingly just missing the R1 playoffs. Their P line w/ ace player Dear and Hurricane behind (along w/ Stork as coach), is already pretty solid and might not have room for another. A lineup in R2 of stars Dear and Solar, along w/ strong regular Reality and a rotating combination of Journey/Hurricane/Bravo, likely doesn't leave much extra space for a new player. But this is a team desperate to improve in R2 and R3 in order to make the season ending playoffs, so if they decide Patience would improve their chances, they'd likely make it work.

Yeah, but Jin Air and CJ have 6 players each (and CJ is even down to 5 currently). Like, in the year-end playoffs, they have to field their entire roster with no choices to be made. Should at least be on the lookout for options.

SOSOSOSOSOoooooooooooo Sad We would not be in this situation if koreans in na played on the server of their region and gave na player the opportunity to practise against them. It was also unfair that organisations such as mlg flew out koreans to their tournaments instead of letting the eco system play out it-self. The wcs system just tries to correct past mistakes. Also we had already a system in which koreans could compete where they wanted. It did not work out! Just accept it. I am sure he will even earn more money in a proleague team than at dead pixels. If you throw koreans against foreigners its like throwing a championsleague team in soccer against a regional league (exxagerated). There is no real competition, korean will win no matter what. We had that already.

We had that already. So you think, this will be solved, when we pay to the regional league team the same money that the champion league team earns. This is an idea worth of a genius. Because we did not try this yet, right? :-)
