After a great run in StarLeague, (Wiki)Patience will no longer play for (Wiki)Dead Pixels. He will join a Korean team and participate in Proleague in the future.

http://www.deadpixels.ch/all-good-things-must-come-to-an-end/

Soon after the news of the merger between Dead Pixels and Karnage, we come to a sad day.

Patience has made a great run in StarLeague Season 1, placing fourth and taking home $7,614 and 1800 WCS KR Points! In fact, Patience’s great run ended up with him not being able to apply for and receive a visa for Switzerland, hindering his planned move to Switzerland. With recent changes, making it impossible to have a Korean player as a foreign team without a visa for the player in question, and the fact that a solo player in Korea can only compete in Global StarCraft II League and StarLeague, Dead Pixels have made the decision together with Patience to have him play for another team, enabling him to participate in Proleague.

This is a very sad decision for both us and Patience, but we do not intend to hinder Patience in his professional career, and we wish Patience the best of luck in the future. We hope that Dead Pixels’ and Patience’s roads will cross again in the future!

Patience on Facebook:

First of all, i would like to say thank you.
I didn't want to leave the team but i can't participate at abroad competition. So i have to participate at proleague in korea.
My time with Dead Pixels was very pleasant.
Although i leave team, i wish to continue our relationship.
Until now, i appreciate that you gave to me opportunity to activate good team and good experience.
Once more thank you for your support.
If i go to Switzerland, i'll visit you.

Very sad to see this given Patience had a plan of moving to Switzerland. I hope he finds a nice home in Korea (probably MVP) and continues to perform well. His SSL performance was outstanding so that should garner some interest in him. Good luck Patience!

So he basically needed to do a Life in the RO16 or maybe even during qualifiers to get a visa. Ladies and gentlemen, WCS.

It is indeed very sad to see his plans couldn't become real... Why couldn't he get the Visa? What type of Visa does he need? I thought there wasn't anything linke the US athlete visa in EU.

Good luck Patience in the future! I'm sure he'll be fine in whatever team he lands.

It was only a question of time.

Instead of shitting on the WCS system, you should try to be productive and guess which team he will end up joining.

Not surprised, but still disappointed.

Hope he gets grabbed by a team quick.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

He was staying in their teamhouse but he didn't actually represent them in SSL or anything, he was always in his Dead Pixels gear, he also couldn't play in ProLeague according to Seed.

A player makes an incredible run in a Korean league and earns the attention of a Proleague team, and a foreign team releases a PR statement because they don't want to say "he left us to play for a better organization". This is a victory for the WCS system.

Well, but there is Patience who says he didn't want to leave DP and wanted to move to Switzerland.
