They literally just made a documentary about the time Idra only got smashed by a few Koreans at MLG Columbus. Foreigners overcoming adversity in the shape of Korea is the best storyline. Yes those were nice storylines but for the rest of the year you had foreigners getting destroyed, I believe some Koreans will be surprised at blizzcon :D
By the level of play ? I mean... i understand why you are happy with those rules but i don't see how this will change a thing at Blizzcon. Because unlike GSL,S2SL etc... DH,IEM realease replay. They will be abble to analyze foreigner play and walk over them as usual.

Well Blizz enforced that in the foreign scene when they took away their chance to compete with the best to actually make meaningful results happen. For Nerchio it is sad, since he was able to win series against koreans, yet does not attract the biggest fanbase.
On the bright side, he can now win most events and hopefully make a living off of the prize money.

I think we should remove all sponsors from the SC2 scene ; instead, TL forum members will get a pool of liquid'dollars in proportion to their postcount and weekly activity, and each member will be free to spend his liquid'dollars pool to support players (thus you can give huge amounts of money to one player or spread it out). And yes, players will be payed in liquid'dollars. Immaterial money is best money, as credit cards and banks taught us.
