Zest vs San is basically "Thanks for coming San, try again next year". Maru somehow always gets Protoss players. ByuL vs Shine is ludicrous. sOs vs Solar is Solar's best chance to get into the tournament. TY vs Trap is pretty hype, as are Rogue vs Heart and Dear vs soO. And like every season, Global Seeds get outrageous opponents.

And soO couldn't get other Protoss either, holy shit. Anyway. Journey/soO/Maru/Rogue/Shine/sOs/Zest/HyuN/Trap/Bogus/Rain/aLive. 7P5T4Z SSL.

The Global Seeds always get really difficult opponents and they always have some weird dream scenario matches in there too (e.g. INno vs ByuL or Flash vs Life in previous Challengers).

Sure his one win in proleague did come from sOs himself, but it was against a botched immortal all-in that lacked the flare and decisiveness of PartinG. In the Bo.5 scenario, taking in recent match form, I don't actually see Solar having the upper hand. oh, and Rip Toodming and Sora. Not Snute, because he knows roach-bane well enough to not get slaughtered 3 zip.

At any other time in Innovation's career, I'd probably have said Snute was absolutely screwed, but Innovation is looking way weaker than before. Of course, he's still way favored here, but it could be a lot worse for Snute.

Early game and early-midgame can be a bit of a vulnerable time for him against Zerg, and Snute, while known more for passive macro play, is certainly not loathe to mix things up. Furthermore, I think they're even in the very lategame, especially considering Zerg's slight advantage in the matchup at that stage of the game.

Just a quick reminder that Snute dropped out of WCS Premier by losing to Kelazhur.

At this point, I'd rather think that the matchs are manually seeded by the tournament organizers.
