If Gfinity really wants to increase viewership than they have to allow more NA and EU players to participate. For a high skill we already have GSL and other tournaments to watch. I wish Gfinity would be more foreign friendly show tournament. More different countries involved - more fans to support their countries. Why? Koreans play better overall and are more crisp. I would watch gsl over wcs any day.

Plus there was NA and Europe quals, they just largely lost to koreans. Furthermore who goes in search of 'slightly worse than high skill' play?

Furthermore who goes in search of 'slightly worse than high skill' play? Lots of people just want to cheer for their countrymen, nothing wrong with that. Having a sport dominated by a single nation is never good for it's global success. I mean I am completely happy with the heavy korean lineup, but that's just how it is.
