And if you don't (or can't) remember, Zergs were underperforming back in the day. FD play at the very first GSL marked the concept of how Zerg should macro, even to this day. Expand, drone, expand, attack. Every Zerg play by that norm when they play macro.

i love how many people put sos in their top 10 when the article already established that sos is behind leenock on rank 16 by the smallest margin. soulkey is prolly rank 17. that or i overestimated one of my guys in the top 10.

and again, he won 1 tournament, then did jackshit after that. he never had another deep run. by that logic we shpould put seed in there, who won GSL after no protoss had won it for years. also the seocnd winner was nestea, another zerg. i dunno, but purely based on tournament wins we might have overestimated imbalances. the next 2 winners of the tournament were terran and protoss. terran dominance only started after the infancy phase of sc2.

Nestea deserves top 5 for sure. 3 GSL wins (1 of which he won without dropping a game), 1 top 4. 3 top 8s. 3rd place at IPL4. 2nd place blizzcon. Nestea award etc. Even though he always lost to MVP he was one of the only players that could actually take games off him during his prime. If it wasn't for Nestea MVP would have for sure won a GSL without losing a game. Most of his achievements were while zerg was underpowered.
