well; soO is in top 15 and for most of 2014 he was viewed as the 2nd best player in the world behind zest.
it would be strange if soO would be top15 but zest doesn't.

What exactly does "great series" mean? Great series overall or just great play from the player in question?
Because i heavily disagree with Maru vs Stats in the NSSL semi final being listed as a great series.
It wasnt bad, good games, but really great were only the game on KSS and maybe the one on foxtrot.
first games was not that great and stats just rolled over and died in the rest.
i am pretty sure that Maru played better series. e.g. the one vs hero in the last gsl.
also, was the innovation - curious game on frost in the iem online qualifier before or after the drg - innovation series?

I think Inno-Curious was after. It might have been before though.
As for Great series, it basically meant I thought there was something special about at least 1 game in the series that reflects on how the player looks at and plays the game. That gives you a really strong expression of who the player is and how they approach the game. (In that case it was the KSS game).

Lol. I mean just going off results/longevity, it's a clear advantage for Bomber. I guess I don't get the allure of Marineking.

10. Innovation - Could maybe put Parting here. I'm fine either way. Both are super good. Just haven't won enough to warrant them being any higher.
9. Zest - His 2014 was that good. I believe he is tied for 3rd in premier wins for a protoss.. and it took him just a year and some change to do it.
8. Bomber - Probably the best terran in 2014. 4-0'd Cure at Red Bull. Ridiculous longevity/6 premiers
7. Nestea - Best zerg of Wings. 2nd best Wings player? Lack of longevity hurts him since he didn't win as much as Mvp.
6. Polt - Only terran to go blow for blow vs protoss imbalance in early 2014. Ridiculous longevity/7 premiers, 3-time WCS Champion
5. MC - Bosstoss. Relevant since the beginning/6 premiers
4. MMA - Arguably the 2nd best terran of all time. Ridiculous longevity/8 premiers. Beat prime Mvp 4-1. Hell, I might put him 3rd
3. Taeja - King of HotS? Or, he was until Life turned up last year
2. Life - Last GSL win sealed it. Could be the GOAT soon
