Well Lilbow and MLord are skillwise compareable with snute and TargA, Firecake isn't that good (if playing long gakes is not taken into account) and Drogo? He is also not that great of a player. Snute is arguably better than any French player currently, but Lilbow, MLord, FireCake and possibly Drogo are above TargA. And we are talking about 4 players for France, while only two for Norway. I love Eiki but he is not on the level of said French players, just like anyone else from the Norwegian scene. Sweden is basically Norway but weaker, and Finland has two very good players. Snute is better than any french player has ever been and by far, he could probably all-kill them, 1 at the top is always better than 4 average. Finland seems to be in a better shape than Sweden, Morrow has not yet find the correct gameplay for midmacro game and naniwa...well naniwa what else? I dont know if welmu fixed his pvp but if he did, he could propably take them all except Mlord and Serral is on fire^^ But i believe french folks will be rising soon, the growth of ogaming can be a huge help for the french scene. I hope one day they'll be as good as Vasa, the greatest caster of the universe. eh, stephano?

yeah its pretty arguable between stephano and snute
I think that's pretty close actually but I would lean towards stephano

Sorry to disappoint, but you don't buy your own arena if you're planning on going on the road.

I think Gfinity is great but i dont believe it will be great for the sc2 scene. The UK scene for sc2 is practically non existent. We have a handful of players, no more. But it will be great to have a huge esport organisation in the uk anyway, best of luck to redeye.

He was a good announcer and really enjoyed his hosting style. We will have to wait how it plays out.

i think they have the same prize list, however every time they met, snute won^^
stats
Also, snute seems in a really good mental state lately which is hard at his level of play ( stephano could not managed it :S) and hopefully will be on the 2015 wcs finals.

excellent pick from Gfinity

prize money doesn't say anything about skill...

My bad. I misread his post actually.

Stephano was a stronger player relative to the playerbase than Snute has really ever been, although Snute wasn't at the same level in that era as he is now. However could Stephano have done as well in the post-Kespa era as Snute has?
Both hypotheticals of course, let's just enjoy probably the two best foreigners of their respective eras (Y)

indeed the broodlord-infestor era ... i am kidding ( or i am? :p )
I dont really understand your first statement. Snute slowly rose to be the best foreigner at the moment, same as stephano was. Also I believe the skill level has increased considerably over the last couple of years with, as you mentionned it, yeaa kespa.
Wait untill the end of the year and we'll continue this conversation. If Snute manage to qualify for wcs finals, he'll have earn the title of best foreigner of sc2.
For me, they have equal stats and achievements and i have faith that Snute'll perform at a higher level really soon .

Redeye is great. I always enjoyed him.

In that Stephano was winning or placing very high in tournaments consistently that had great Korean lineups, something no other foreigner has really done. Stephano was among the favourites for tournaments rather than 'He might make the Ro8 with good bracket luck'
Snute of today transplanted to that era would likely be a similar monster but it's hard to compare them for the reasons I outlined earlier. They're quite similar too, both mechanically sound but also strategically intelligent and a bit ahead of the curve.

Will the Red Eye still be at IEM?

Indeed, every time i watch a tournament with snute in it, easy to bet he'll be in Ro8.
