TeSL has been operating in eSports since 2007. However, they reached their prime of eSports with Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty in 2011 and 2012. In Chinese, whenever news is introduced, it is introduced as "in the __th year of eSports".

In 2011, TeSL began a team league, but in 2012 they began conducting the individual league with a simple point-based system to rank their players followed up by a twin grouped best of 7 format which continues to this day. When TeSL begins streaming in English tomorrow, this will be season one of four that will be going in to 2015 and perhaps end in late June or early July as it did this year.

The Chinese-language casters have been around as long as tasteless and artosis, Sobadrush can be seen on liquipedia playing some tournaments for Brood War as far back as 2003. He continues to play and cast Starcraft II: Heart of The Swarm to this day.

First and foremost, yes this is an interview with me and I know there are rules against self-plug-ins / self-prmotion. Secondly, this isn't exactly the kind of news article I wanted, thirdly I accept this position with much grace and humbleness. TeSL interviewed me and I want to quote this paragraph where I talk about what Artosis said to me off-camera at the Taiwan Open 2014:

"BreAker has said that the market for the Taiwan eSports environment has been too narrow, and if we can invite more western competitors to participate in the TeSL circuit, in all objective views, the amount of discussion and competition level would be helped greatly. At the 2014 Taiwan open, the two invited casters [Tasteless and Artosis] said that Taiwan's eSports environment is the second most developed and stable environment by country (the first is Korea), it's just that Taiwan needs an opportunity to prove itself. [the next sentence is misquoted by the reporter, and this is my own view point] I believe that if in the future there is a massive team league tournament like the GSTL in Taiwan, that would be the best opportunity for TeSL."
I have made this thread for the sake now that there is an official news link to TeSL, not for self promotion. And at the same time, the only thing you guys had to go on with my last thread was my own word and that is it. Looked just a bit shady. I hope everyone here understands. TeSL was trying to make a story about me to appeal to the Taiwanese Audience.
