It's bloody expensive as hell to stage an event there. The entire Northeast is boned. I don't think anything will get closer to me than Columbus or Detroit. Well, Ignite is in the area but I can't think of an event that's taken place in Chicago. At least NYC got IEM NY, RedBull Battlegrounds, and you could always picket the front of the MLG offices. | ||

Southern California is expensive but it's pretty much the center of the entertainment industry with movies, music, tv, videogames. That and I'm sure Blizzard likes to minimize employee travel. | ||
