Such a shame, just as he was doing well T_T Apparently the interview says that CJ had told him they "probably wont renew his contract because of not having good results" which I find a little strange considering he seemed to be on the upswing.. Either way, going to spend time with his sick mother is a good reason to retire, I hope he does well in the future!

Dammit I can't find the picture. I meant to blog about it. I was there for the SKT v CJ Proleague Semi this summer. The final night, the CJ bus was delayed through downtown Gangnam, they were all hanging out outside (lol SKT all bounced real quick to go get dinner), so I approached the group of Effort, Hydra, Bbyong (Skyhigh and HerO were elsewhere) standing around. I gave 'em big ups for being OSL and MSL champions respectively, and (alongside a blurry photo, which I can't find) I encouraged them to come to foreign tournaments and events. Remember, they had just been knocked out of Proleague, but this really cheered them up, especially Effort, particularly when I mentioned Blizzcon. I remember reading about him Savior and Skyhigh going to Blizzcon, so he particularly enjoyed being reminded of 2009. Before Mr. Ma's incident, when he was still on top of the OSL, before family sickness and looming military ... it was actually my favorite SC moment of the trip. Apart from meeting Fantasy, lol. But ahead of seeing iloveoov break down with his head in his hands, while his team were celebrating, and proceeding to give (his ex co-)coach Park a big hug. I just need those pics. Bad thing is, last time I had them, I was sorting them all-night on in a Japanese internet cafe, so I may have lost them </3 . Effort is cool guy. Hope he does well + Show Spoiler +

and hope he joins SOSPA, even though he's pretty daym good at SC2
