My personal opinion is, he was never a good host. He just didn't have the charisma and knowledge that a good host needs. I never enjoyed watching his shows, facepalming at so many of his comments. Didn't care much about his reddit bots either, that just showed he was really desperate for getting attention, which I think was the main reason for making his shows. When the hater community slowly grew and chat was spammed by "FailFish" more than constructive comments, I think he acknowledged it was not worth it running the shows anymore.

People, you deserve to be honest but... do you ever think before you type? I mean its no wonder the game died if everyone in the community gets shit on, I think there's more tactful ways to say good bye then 'thats okay he sucked anyway'. Back in 2010 we could be cavalier with our words because there was a nonstop stream of fresh meat but I can't see people wanting to enter this community to refresh it if thats the treatment they get.

it wasnt about the money.. he just had no time for his personal life and wasnt happy anymore because he missed alot of things in his family (at least that's what i understood from his statement); he was basically to busy with his work and had no time to relax
