He contributed to the SC2 scene more in week than most of you combined for the past 4 years.
I don't even play SC 2 but this is the only SC2 related thing I watch.
This was the last great weekly show for SC 2 and you guys are ragging on him. I thought the League scene was toxic.....

He got warned because not only is it a malicious comment, it is also based on false information. I write random shit and it gets front page reddit np. It's just like the every other negative comment. Totally uninformed. I swear 90% of the comments in here fill my heart with joy and the other 10% make me question the human race.

He's putting on a free show and he's not forcing anyone to watch it. He's like one of the few that's trying to help the scene grow. How many people put on weekly shows about SC2?? zero.
There are people on the first page of Twitch SC2 Streams with less that 10 people watching. You wonder why no one wants to stay in this scene. Disgusted more than anything...

If all of us just pitch in 1 dollar per week..... it wasnt about the money.. he just had no time for his personal life and wasnt happy anymore because he missed alot of things in his family (at least that's what i understood from his statement); he was basically to busy with his work and had no time to relax
While true if he could of made a living purely off esports it would probably of been easier to stay active and spend time with the family at the same time. Esports just really isn't at that level for the rank and file, only the top few who have a huge viewership for their stuff or some kind of salary deal with someone. So I'm sure the fact that you can't make a living off esports doesn't help out when you want to spend time with your family and have a 9 to 5.

I have nothing but positives for Chanman and will miss him a ton. My objection is you taking 2-3 posters and projecting them as the entire scene.

well for what he will rememberd.
botting on reddit. upvoting own content downvoting competitors content. get banned. stopped doing shows. i am not dissapointed in him doing this. it what i expected because of his passport.
i will miss unfilterd. i turned in because of the people he was able to bring on the show. a huge achievment. it was the best esports show for long time. it was like lo3 back in the days with scoots before it went into this soft version and not really talking and more dodging. and esports needs such a show in my opinion.
i wish him all the best. not a great entertainer but able to get people together and thats worth more.

Great guy, great shows. I am sad that he went all or nothing. Why not give unfiltered to Destiny and host value town every other week so that he has a lot more time for his family while not completly abandon us all? :<

I read the whole topic and watched the video. I was warned and told to read the whole topic before looking ignorant, even though I made a possible connection from age, name, and history of events added to personal experience from 15 years ago (doubting the person who warned me was aware of these days). D: I was there back then, so I remember old Bnet names, and this one was popular with thousands of wins and ZERO losses. Just a possible connection, not trying to take some sort of jab like most of the other posts that were warned. No hatred here towards the dude.
Seems like a good family man and I hope he enjoys his free time with his kids
