I think the lack of televised matches for SKT as a team (sure some played in the GSL) was a huge factor. Their first place after regular season proved to be a double-edged sword, last time they were in an adrenaline fight that matters is 2/3rds of a month earlier.

was a standard trolling, calm down. KT has TY too, although the core is still from BW times. And believe me I miss the Bisu/Best/Fanta/and even Hyuk version of SKT no less than you or any other old fan. Those were the times. Now SKT just doesn't feel SKTish, just ask BisuDagger.
ps: soo is 100% SKT of course, it's just his second places that's sad. I wish him a cup sooner rather than later.

I assume you mean lack of televised matches as in lack of material for SKT to study, right?

I've lost 2% of my 100% respect to SKT when they didn't field a terran on this finals.It also looked like they don't trust (T)

i hear ya, but tbh, it seems reasonable, FanTaSy isn't doing well in anything, Proleague or Individual leagues. If you were the coach of SKT, and you had a team of 7 GSL code S players plus 2 Code A players, who would YOU FIELD? 6 of 7 Code S players? or put in the Code A player who cant even get out of Code A, who would you pick, if even Code S players weren't enough to take the win for SKT, then i seriously doubt that just becuz he has experience that FanTaSy will win for SKT.
The only player that we can say is not Top notch in SKTs lineup yesterday was Dark, but even he is a Ro16 Zerg in Season 2 GSL, so much better than FanTaSy. So yeah, even with SKT's best players they couldnt win, it was never the problem of not fielding FanTaSy (he wouldnt have won anyways), it was just one game anyways, KT Rolster just prepared better.
iloveoov doesnt care about what the viewers think, if everyone in the world says FanTaSy vs Flash ACE (if it happened), but iloveoov thinks they will lose if they send out FanTaSy, he wont send him out, because FanTaSy just isn't performing well at all

The hype was real but the games were just alright. I get why people went nuts for Flash but it was just a standard pre-storm SCV pull, I wanted to see Flash go into a macro game with Parting but that wouldnt have been a smart decision ofcourse. Soulkeys build made no sense, Dark didnt scout and the 2-rax killed the potential awesome Flash vs Rain ace match. Meh at least it wasnt a stomp.

I was really truly surpriced how Action played. Granted I did give Action a slight lead to begin with, but the fake of the ling speed really threw Dark of. He even faked it again when the ling scout got in. Just really well done and prepared.

Other games were great too, notably Flash vs Parting. Flash had prepared and read Partings timing so well, that Parting had no chance if he played standard. And those 4 hero marines.. Just randomly going around in the map. Nobody knew what they were doing, but everybody were looking at them.

Also about the first game.. I think it was all about nerves. In the end though Stats have his plan locked out and Soulkey seemed to just be undecisive on what to do, which costed him the game.

In the end as many have said.. It came down to preparation, KT scouted SKT really well.
