I've checked battle.net profiles of different pro players and I haven't found a single one with so many. Even desrow who is the least talented aspiring pro in the scene (although he is entertaining, kind and funny) has been grandmaster since forever with much less played games so I would go easy on calling this kid a prodigy. Yes yes, and ofc you were gm at 9 years old with just 1k games, yes sure.... I'll try to translate you an italian proverb: "when the fox can't reach grapes, says it's acerb"

Tbh, it should have been worded "the youngest KNOWN player". Remarkable feat anyway. For those who wondered about the 7k games played (they are way less, by the way), there's one thing to say, as I know him personally: he has been playing for a long time, and I had to put two chairs one on top of another plus a pillow to have him reach the keyboard less than one year ago. Some who attended DH Bucharest in 2013 may even remember this. The greatest amount of his games, the earliest, were played mouse only, as he wasn't able to reach both mouse and keyboard due to being little. Still as today he doesn't cover the full keybindings range with his hand.

Congratulations to Reynor. I LOVE seeing stories about young people being successful and doing awesome things in fields with people who are much older, and I hope he continues to have tremendous success in the game.

Managing to reach GM doesn't make you responsible, especially if you are 12. You need support to learn how to live healty.
