Those guys + DRG/Super is a decent team. Without them, they're still going to finish in the cellar. They did this and lost the one person (DRG) that made people like them.
As far as DRG goes, I don't think he really cares about PL. I think he just wants to win tournaments and make money before he goes to military. He can do whatever he wants, and if he stays motivated, will be fine. I hope he keeps playing Code S though and doesn't move to WCS AM or EU unless he joins Liquid

Yeah and look where they are now.

Surprised that the players given reason was that they don't want to play in Proleague anymore

Yeah those teams shouldn't exist either. Yeah because teams that were once bad never work their way up to being good over time. That never happens. No money = bad performance. I understand why you've got some decent abl fame with this kind of stupid reasonning.
You are the one that's stupid to think that money doesn't give anyone motivation.

That means they're ALL going to look for foreign teams no? I mean there's no Korean teams left that don't play in proleague besides Axiom and aren't they at capacity at their house?
Well all who aren't just retiring

Same place MBC and Oz are?
I mean come on, if the team still has funds and players to compete, why should they be kicked out and told "you suck, we don't want you in our league"? One team will always be last in every tournament, that doesn't mean they'll go 0-28 and bring absolutely no entertainment or value to the league. It's very counterproductive to give teams the boot because they "might not be good enough". Such a mindset prevents improvement and limits exposure, guaranteeing that they'll disband eventually.

So the news is a bad one after all. T.T DRG shouldn't have a problem if he wants to keep playing, if not a KeSPA team for sure a foreign team would like to have him. Even if he isn't even close to the player that he was, there is enough foreigner fans that grew up in sc2 with him that it would be worth the semi contract (HerO, Seed, ect that live in Korea while participating in foreign tournaments mainly).
I really hope the best for Keen, Super, ect. While they were clearly a class below the top KeSPA players in Proleague, they are for sure on the level with top foreigners.

I can see pretty much every player that was on MVP besides DRG retiring. It's not too much of a stretch. Super might attempt to find a new team, KeeN is one of my favorite players, but he has not had any sort of stellar results lately.
Swagger will probably retire or become a full time coach, if possible.
For guys like aLive or hyvaa, who just joined the team only to presumably get the boot, this sucks and is probably very disheartening. Beyond that... Sniper, despite being a GSL Champ doesn't really have much going for him, Tails, Billowy... I dunno, I can see most of them retiring.
Not that I want it to happen

I just realized Swagger will be teamless. Noooooo

I guess Choya is coming out of retirement for the 17th time

I think Acer should pick up DRG. Would be a perfect fit, I guess. I'm not sure why, but I like the change. The old MVP member seemed to underperform since quite a while. So maybe a change and a fresh start will turn out to be better for everyone of them

A better word for it than "rebuilding" is restarting.

DRG not on MVP? wow

so mvp is basically IM but without coach kang. right? that's a good thing isn't it, at least when it comes to team league performance one can dream

Acer DRG would be awesome. Although what that team really needs is a good protoss, or two. Still, Acer is kind of my second favorite team, even though it's mostly for scarlett/nerchio love (but i respect mma and inno.) Acer DRG would definitely convert me into a full-on Acer fan.
