soO? Where did you go?
He didn't seem like the soO we all know in this series. I cannot believe that he didn't prepare better for the Phoenix all in in game 6, i was screaming in my head (I would have literally screamed but it was 1 in the morning) to get some static D or something, but no he just made pure ling hydra (The worst thing to make against a phoenix all in)
Sigh. . . Maybe 4th time is the charm.

I just want soO to make it to every finals and say sup?

People keep saying that soO is really good, but every time I tune in to his games, I end up being disappointed in his play. Honestly, I was far more impressed with Solar this season as a whole, and to a lesser degree, Soulkey as well. Roro seems to wow me every time I see him in proleague. As much as I'd like to pick one tournament and declare it to be the end all to be all determinant of skill, I don't think it's accurate to say that soO is a world's best zerg.

It's not one tournament it's 3 tournaments in a row. He also does pretty dang well in proleague and got 3rd/4th in the GSL global championship.

Is there any reason I am unable to watch the VODS of the finals? I've been holding off coming here in hopes that it would correct itself, but I still have the same problem. Do I need a YEAR long ticket to watch the finals VODS, as opposed to a season ticket. This is quite frustrating.
edit: It would appear it's not even apart of my subscriptions. I'm not sure why, I watched every match of last season and this season, yet for some reason I seem to have lost both subscriptions.

If you're unlucky to see only soO's scrappy finals, well, happens.
But it's hilarious to argue on who is best Zerg in the world when you have guy who stays in GSL finals for a year already, smashing all other top Zergs on his road to finals.

Classic is the guy who switched from T to P not too long ago right? :D I would recommend more T's to do that.
|
To all the whiners on this thread... did you actually watch the games? Do you really think soO played better than Classic?
Please be honest. Protoss may have its problems but I think imbalance didn't make Classic the winner here.

There's always next season soO...

Well, on results you can't really contend with soO right now as far as Zergs go. So I can understand giving him that title.
However, when it comes to gameplay, I can't help feeling like Soulkey is still superior. Soulkey just seems to excel in everything, but especially in using SH and playing from behind.
I'm not even really a fanboy of Soulkey either. Guy just seems to always end up walking a harder path than soO and going out earlier than expected. At least aside from that one time soO crapped on him 3-0 (so maybe he's better in ZvZ at least). Soulkey is totally killing him in SPL at least.

Great play from Classic. SoO deserves all the respect in the world for making three straight finals, showing that he's probably the strongest player overall at the moment and I say this even though, according to the TLPD, Taeja and Innovation are the top three players in the world. . . . lol.
In any event I do want to express some disappointment with the casting. Tasteless' casting was abysmal. He wasn't funny and about all he contributed to the cast was to continually point out "mistakes". This was a mistake, that's a mistake, that's sloppy, this is an error, etc. You'd think you were watching a bronze league heroes game if you just listened to him prattle on. While hyping small things is unnecessary and no one is playing perfect the level of criticism coming from him is pretty unbearable, especially when it's coming from someone who clearly isn't that knowledgeable (anymore). Artosis's favorite players weren't playing and he had tough mustering any enthusiasm even though he at least acknowledges that SoO is playing extremely well. I almost had to mute the cast at points. In any event, I'm not sure whom I'd want to cast the GSL finals. I like Grubby probably the best as the "analyst" and Rotterdam for the right blend of comedy, light analysis and criticism. Although I find Wolf to be intolerable for many of the same reasons I now find Tasteless intolerable, I enjoy the Proleague casts, especially when Moonglade joins them.

Some great games! I'm loving these protoss! There are a half a dozen that have really stepped their game up and started to really shine. For once we have leaders to look up to. We're no longer reliant upon gimmicks and cheezy builds. Finaly we can actually keep up in a macro game and everyone cries about it. Well say what you must but these top protoss are damn good. Hope you win another Classic!

If soo lost to estro protosses three times in a row, this means only one thing: Flying is going to come out of retirement for next season

Don't even think you need a PM since the VODs are from GOM's Korean channel.

This finals felt really lack luster to me :/ not sure if it was because of them being teammates or what. Their decision making seemed so bad in comparison to their games up to the finals. Was also super surprised Classic won. If SoO had been playing as well as he did in his finals against Zest, he would have wrecked Classic.
