1. I find it very hard to believe at least one protoss won't get out of this group 2. Although past performance has often been a very poor predictor, you can't ignore that Maru for all his success has a miserable record against his opponents 3. Soulkey is the most consistent player in the world at making final 8's and final 4's. He's the most consistent player in the world, period, a seriously rare quality in sc2. 4. In sc2, you're only as good as your last few weeks, and titles seem to count for little, or even go against you. On that count, Zest is possibly the most favoured in this group as he's been red-hot recently despite not having "accomplished anything" compared with his competition. 5. Zest has long been godly in PvP Put all that together and I think Zest and Soulkey are slightly favoured to get out of this deadly group alive. That said, I don't think you could say any possible outcome would be an "upset" and that's why tonight's matches are likely to be very memorable.

I totally agree with you. I think for a championship player to maintain his form, it's important to have peers and practice partners around that are top level. There are exceptions of course, but Dear surely doesn't look like one. After his miraculous runs, Dear himself said that sOs and Soulkey helped him a great deal in practicing and discussing builds. No offense, but the Mouz players are certainly a couple of levels below Championship Dear.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see Dear go 4-0 or 4-1 total and win 1st with Soulkey taking 2nd. Maru could also easily take 2nd and leave Zest and Soulkey battleing for 3rd. Maru has been solid in Proleague where as Zest lost to both Bbyong & herO recently and Soulkey lost to Super & DRG. So, my original prediction was Zest and Soulkey, but after thinking more and more. I'm going with 1st: Dear 2nd: Maru 3rd: Soulkey 4th: Zest Honestly though, I don't care who really advances because they all deserve it.

I thought that sounded a bit wrong, but couldn't remember anybody other than Dear and MC winning the GSL as Toss. Also, barracking for Soulkey (because SKT) and one of either Maru or Dear (because they are the two best players to watch in the group).
