Personally, I prefer these and the the white one here, which I think was less popular than these ones. I actually wasn't as keen on these tops that appear to belong in the English Premier League or perhaps the Italian Serie A, though together with the pants they looked pretty good. I actually didn't mind the orange tops they had. I thought I recalled were pretty unpopular here though. Maybe I have opposite preferences to the majority when it comes to SKT T1 apparel. ^_^ | ||

Well, MC doesn't live in "England or something", but his English has improved a lot. JaeDong also has relatively good English compared to other Korean pro gamers. Before you make some excuse, I'd like to remind you that these players have recognised English as an important language, so they've put some effort into learning it to the point of having free conversation. I'm not saying the SKT1 guys should do exactly that, but it's not too hard to learn 2-3 sentences just for their advertisement, is it? If i buy a jersey of my football club i pay the same price and these jerseys are way ahead in terms of quality. A red polo costs what ? 10 bucks + some sticks. Not worth imo, even if its from SKT1. You're not just paying for the t-shirt, you're paying for an official, limited piece of genuine merchandise you cant buy anywhere else right now. If you regard it as a collector's item for hardcore fans, then theres no reason to complain about the price, especially when they explained why it's that expensive. | ||

I wouldn't be in this thread if I wasn't interested. I am just disappointed by the price and am expressing my opinion about it. And it is pricy when you factor in shipping and taxes (because I would pay taxes on customs service because I am ordering outside EU and the price is above the threshold). You can get an official FC Barcelona long sleeve jersey with custom print on the back for that price. I am not here to bargain and get it for a lower cost or something like that, as I said, I am just expressing my disappointment about the price. I guess if it turns out to be a success and you get more jerseys and they become less limited edition, prices will drop and then I will buy one. | ||

My point is that if you love SKT as much as do (although that is probably not possible) this is an opportunity you waited for a long time, probably ever since you became their fan. Barcelona Man Utd etc make big money from their shirts and its a way for them to fund their business, but for SKT that wasn't a priority - they don't have to rely on that money to pay Partings salary but they do realize how important it is to make the fans happy and to be represented outside of Korea. This is a milestone not because SKT decided they wanted to make some money from their shirt but because they noticed how important we are and that they should care about their foreign fans. Imagine iloveoov promoting his team shirt on TL back in 2007 ! We are witnessing a great shift in their attitude which is what we waited for all these years. Not to be nit picky but lilsusie had another give away before that for the one that was worn like 2005-2006ish. I got it for my birthday thanks to her =D. It was also similar in price to this one. | ||

But people bring economical arguments in a purely emotional purchase - yes you can get better stuff for that money, but if you are a fan nothing will bring you as much satisfaction. The largest parts of the money you pay for the shirt will go to SKT, the courier who delivered the shirts from korea to us and then to you and to the government, that at least in the EU will take about 15€ of what you paid for the shirt. That's what this comes down to. As the person in charge of the store I have to make sure we have a sustainable business, turn some profit that allows us to grow and probably get to this point where we have a functioning platform that other companies in ESPORTS may like to use - this is all great for everyone right. But having these SKT shirts is just a labor of love. I would like it to be the stepping stone for bigger and greater things, will see. | ||

I have one of the SKT T1 shirts because I bought'em while they were on sale in Korea. I have a CJ Entus shirt which was NEVER SOLD to people (was lucky to get my hands on one). It was an absolute honor to get hands on one of these team shirts, and now people have easy access to these shirts (for those who are quick enough). If price is holding you back, then that's it. People who are more passionate than you will pick these up, and you won't. Don't regret your decision later, however. | ||
