SKT's top 2 are PartinG and SK, Rain dropped for one match. Interesting. SKT vs KT going to be the most exciting matchup this week. Also, finally get to see mafia zerg yay! He'd better find some way to reach lategame.
Just realized SKT changed their lineup a lot for the match against CJ. Classic and Bravo instead of Rain. Bleh, can't even trade because he's my captain.

As I mentioned in the Code A qualifier interview thread, ByuN forfeited his matches in the Code A qualifiers too. He's clearly unable to play or has stealth retired. A temporary lapse in confidence can maybe explain Prime not sending him out for Proleague but doesn't explain not even trying out for the only individual Korean league left.
On that note, it's kind of sad to see Prime just trotting TerrOr out match after match. Time to send out SalvatioN, Splendid, eins, SOMEONE else... you never know when you might happen upon a player who happens to hit his stride in a live match. Then again if there's one thing Gerrard is famous for, it's sending out the same players over and over no matter how badly they do. I guess he's just decided every match will be Jila/Creator/TerrOr/someone else.
Please beat DRG, Maru. Flash vs Parting should be pretty good. Thinking Dream vs sOs has the potential to be a good match, too. I wonder if ByuL can keep up the streak
also not using Sniper vs Jin Air. MVP deserves to lose. Why would you bench your best player?

yes there was. they removed the rule this season due to Bo5
KT changing it up a bit this week. Zest changed for Myungsik once, and Stats changed for Action once. Wonder how that will work out. Myungsik did make Code A, but I haven't seen Action play in ages.
Other notes: Maybe Stork will win this week. No Fantasy, still... Terror has no luck and will most likely lose this week too.
CoCa was sick the last few weeks. I don't know if he still is or if Rogue's good performances convinced the Jin Air Coach. I hope he will come back, hopefully with a good code A run
It appears the fan voting for the weekly MVP has closed a little earlier than last week with Maru winning comfortably.
It turns out the voting power is 60% from five reporters and 40% fan vote. This week all the reporters voted for Maru so despite Flash leading the fan vote, Maru already had an unassailable lead in the overall result.
Had a feeling Zest might get dropped for the next match. Hrm, might have to consider removing DRG from my anti team, ZvT is the only thing he does well, and It's Maru's worst matchup too.
I wonder what's up with Fantasy. Is he sick or is he so bad that he's not even first T anymore? Or maybe Oov and Fantasy is plotting some serious shit and it's only a matter of time before Fantasy busts out and achieves world domination. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the last one.

When you have ability to land 4 aces except Fantasy, you can'y blame iloveoov for not placing him.

Yeah, not having him in the line-up is not that weird. But Bravo before Fantasy on other hand...
Is it good to be a SKT player nowadays or bad? Well you get a title for "free" but if not even Rain has a place for sure and fantasy, sacsri and paralyse are watching all the time :o
4 Code S players 5 Code A Players 2 "Code B" 3rd place 1 "Code B" 4th place

SKT should have their "B teamers" join proleauge as a seperate team. Probably would still do well :o
Byul was on my anti-team, traded him out for Maru to try and limit the damage this week. If DRG manages to beat Maru, I'll be able to get rid of him for someone more reasonable. I don't have a lot of faith in EffOrt's ZvZ (or CJ in general), and Byul's ZvP is looking super scary.
Flash/Parting is going to be a sick game. It could be an ace match too. I'm not sure KT will try Zest in the ace match again (if it comes to that) to try and score a PvP. It's true that statistically, the two best SKT players this season are Protoss, but soO and Soulkey are no slouches, and if Flash beats Parting, SKT might be a bit nervous to send him out again, and Zest's PvZ is largely untested.

pretty unsure about HerO and Ruin being played, they could cost us.
We haven't seen his ZvZ this season, but it's statistically his best matchup. He's looking pretty strong these days.
Towards the end of WCS 2013 S3 he beat Jaedong of JvZ fame and soO who had just 3-0'ed Soulkey, so while there's no guarantees, his ZvZ seems to be pretty good.

I'm not sure I understand, he has always been on MVP? Or are you wondering why he isn't being fielded this week? If so, yeah, that's really curious that they'd pick DRG over him.
Those matches look great. If only it was Squirtle vs. Effort and Byul vs. Sora, and not the mirror matches, it would be even more amazing, but oh well.
On January 10 2014 23:33 Xxio wrote: so does fantasy suck or...?
definitely a few good matches to look forward to
I think that is has more to do with the fact that they have Soulkey, Rain, Parting and soO on their roster, and all of these guys had achieved more than Fantasy, which doesn't exactly means that they are better than him but they are probably more consistent.
I am pretty sure that we will see something from him in the near future.

HerO vs zerg and terran is probably the best that IM could hope for. His PvZ is definitely the strongest on IM, his PvT most likely as well if he's had enough time to get back in shape.

It is a little bit confusing, especially since he was fielded in the preseason and showed some seriously great ZvP dismantling Stats. You would think someone that good against Protoss would be a Proleague regular. He has also just qualified for Code A.
However, you can see why he's not playing looking at Jin Air's lineup. Maru is a must play obviously. sOs is struggling, but it's hard to bench the player with the highest win percentage from last season, especially since the team just acquired him. Rogue is actually playing quite well and I am assuming is internally ranked higher than Coca, as he is their zerg mainstay.
It is the last lineup spot that is a little strange to me. Cure and Terminator have shown good play in PL so far, but I would have expected Coca to be fielded over either. I guess the Jin Air coaches know something we don't because he hasn't been fielded yet and it doesn't seem to be hurting them.

Ya I just sort of expected that last spot to be sort of a revolving door, giving CoCa and other players a chance to prove themselves, but I guess since they've been winning they want to keep it going. But I still think CoCa would be a strong addition over some of the players they've fielded so far.
Must be very hard to be oov. Picking between Rain, PartinG, and Soulkey to give a rookie a shot is sure to be a tough task Edit: By rookie I mean not a championship caliber player (although I hope FanTaSy improves enough to be one soon)
Like RorO swarm host turtling his way back to the top. I predict him winning the next Code S over a Protoss in a Game 7 that lasts 6 hours and requires it to be resumed from replay to give the players a chance to nap (during which RorO will snuggle with Sniper).
WTF Prime! Bring in your damn Terrans! Eins or Byun need to replace Maru and MKP. Prime was known as the Terran team. It has become Team Kal now. Which in itself not a bad thing but dammit remember your roots!
Also we really need an update on Byun, is he even alive? ;_;
Other than that, hyped about the matches. Would be so happy if Prime took their first win vs Samsung.
Oh boy, I have some interesting predicaments this week. Hopefully Sora vs Squirtle will be a draw?? Is that possible? Oh well at least they both play twice, hope herO can pull through vs PartinG this week. And I wish Dream was playing anybody but sOs because I was hoping he'd come out of his slump and I have Dream on my FPL team neeeeoooo!

He can try to transfer to prime so that he can play in every game.

I generally don't get pissed when teams field the players they believe give them the best chance to win.

I just wish CoCa would get a chance with Jin Air, I feel he is much stronger than Rogue, but he is a newcomer so who knows.

Hm i am not sure of that would help, maybe if barbie retires though

Personally, I gave up on seeing him any time soon. Traded him for effort. It might actually be a bad idea since all SKT players, even those never being fielded, give more points than many active players. A more active FPL team is more fun, though.
