I think they would be better of with 200 or 250 games PLAYED on the server I was playing 8-10 games every work day while working 8 hours a day when I was playing SC extensively. 15-30 on saturdays and sundays. At that rate, would have taken me what, 40 work days, or less than a month if including weekends to hit the prerequisite 200 wins (assuming 50% win rate)? 200 wins last season is nothing for a pro gamer who would play more than I would on average. Considerably less for a Korean player expecting to stomp all over the competition who could theoretically get the 200 wins in a week. The higher the number of required wins on ladder the better off the local competition will become.

On the other hand people should not have signed up if they didn't have 200 wins ![]() I can understand the american players signing up though. I dont get why the ladder qualifier doesnt allow every resident to enter+ foreign players who met the win requirement. It takes one chance away from native players for no reason. Cant grind 200 wins out in 3 days. Dont really know when the announcement went live, so I dont know how long they had last season

So if you had 150 last season and 50 this season and masters, you're ok. Edit: I was informed this is not necessarily the case, we'll see what the final word from the NASL admins is. The point of requiring it for everyone is so that people have incentive to play on the local ladder.

Moral: Never trust players to do anything right or do simple things, like count to 200.

Looks pretty reasonable then, especially for pros.

Dont really know when the announcement went live, so I dont know how long they had last season http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=436104#2 That was on the 21st when the 200 win requirement was initially announced. The dates for the qualifiers was announced like, 2-3 weeks ago. Also the 200 wins is for current or previous season, and there was plenty of time last season to get 200 wins. Especially for someone who was serious about wanting to qualify.
