 KangHo (formerly known as Losira) announced on his stream that he has left team Incredible Miracle after 3 years. It is not yet known if he is retiring or joining another team, and he has shared no further concrete information on the subject, though one might interpret the chat log below as him wanting to join a new team.
IM will be participating in the upcoming season of Proleague, and most expected Losira to play a key role on the team's line-up. IM has so far made no acquisitions to replace Losira.

Hm, so many Korean free agents now that are good enough too make deep runs in tournaments but are unable to really win those. Conserding that there are only very few teams that intentionally try to strengthen their lineup, it might be hard for them to clinch satisfying deals.

Well Byul had the one good season in WCS AM but Losira had ro8, ro16, ro16 WCS KR this past year so it was probably pretty close. Byul is a pretty good zerg though so they won't be without one.

He would be worth pretty decent money to a foreign team. His consistency is insane.
Code S/Premier every season this year. He is Clide levels of consistent.

It has been very quiet around him, so it's not a total surprise, but still, he would've been needed as the go to Zerg for IM-TL's PL success. I hope they can find a decent Zerg as replacement.

I doubt he'll retire.. also why would IM field him on the Proleague roster (most of their team will probably be fielded on the Proleague roster considering Liquid only provides a few players) when you have PvProleague with Hero the king of Shindorim ?

I'm amazed people are so tied to Losira like this, its like their good friend is permamently moving overseas or something! Well I for one hope Losira finds a way to retire from SC2, I think he'd be much happier getting a more stable job. The free agent pool pre-proleague is actually pretty stacked. Hopefully these guys are picked up pretty quickly, Losira especially.

The situation in Korea now is that SC2's position is different from what it was 12-18 months ago (as most of us have been aware already), but many Korean players are having a difficult time acknowledging this.
Another IM player who is semi well-known was leaving the team to shop around for different teams couple months ago, but it was never announced, so maybe he changed his mind after realizing the above.

Losira's been my favorite player for ages. This really... I dunno. I always try to get him to communicate with his fans more, and he's been really nice to me in tweets. That said I don't really think he's got the ability to market himself. If he goes the way of trying to find his own team he'll be another Genius, without a team for a long while.
That said, if he has something else lined up then this is possibly something that'll break him out of his top 16/8 funk of the past year.

Wow, Losira leaving IM is definitely surprising. Wasn't Losira one of the original IM members since the beginning? Anyway, might have to do with the fact that he's been sort of turning into a 'faceless korean' these days since he's sort of vanished from the scene. Hope he finds a new team soon.

Well I was rather confused when IM and MVP moved over to Kespa, while at around that time Kespa announced the down sizing of teams to around 6 Players. Since IM and MVP were around 10ish players I was scared that players would have to leave IM and MVP. Kinda expected that some players won't be happy with new Kespa contracts and would leave as well.
Either way happy its more of a shuffle and not to much retiring. Though I hate it if teams are forced balanced.

i think leaving IM is the right choice when you consider how little kangho has accomplished considering how much skill he possesses (kind of like seed).
sincerely hope he finds a team that will nurture him or give him more chances to be in the spotlight because i respect his level of play!

Unless it's for a foreign team (more opportunity abroad!) I can't understand that at all.
IM is known for being one of the best at nurturing their players and letting the less established in the spotlight. Coach Hirai caught all kinds of shit for ages because he played the weaklings in GSTL to develop them. Now they're badasses.
Hell, even before the rise of Yonghwa and First I'd of said Losira was their best player in GSTL and he did reach a final while on the team. While Seed became a champ (and is still irrelevant on FoU ).

Have you heard about this Protoss named Sage? I am telling you THIS GUY is the Protoss of the future. His scouting is AMAZING. I've watched all of his VODs, like, 10 times just to absorb what I can from this guy. Truly, the NesTea of Protoss.

IM just recently lost a gigantic sponsor, maybe they didn't have the funds to continue paying their players the salary they wanted and losira's contract was up. I hope goes to a foreign team, he's a great personality and he and his team could benefit a lot from some spotlight in international tournies.
