Yep, it was totally to be expected, yet you have to ask why gom did book that venue in the first place, it was easily GSL finals size for some reason. It would have been, in my opinion, a much denser and better atmosphere if they just had this whole crowd cramped into a smaller venue. Oh well, was very cool anyways.

Rain ! <3
Such a classy dude.
Future MVP of proleague#2 coming

Rain showing more varied strategies is great. We all know he has stunning execution. Nice to see him use that execution on something other than standard safe (boring) macro for a change.

Rain, breaking single girls' hearts all across Seoul.

I lost interest in the game for a while. I was still playing a large number of games but not practicing properly. Lately, I've regained my passion for the game and have been working really hard to improve so I think that's why I'm doing well on the ladder and won this tournament. I will continue this going into 2014
Good Luck with that and congratulations picking up this last korean trophy this year.

Rain is really like the last stand of the Innovation/Taeja haters. He's one hell of a solid guy though, would be sad to see him retire or fall into irrelevancy. Though I would've loved to see Soulkey take the win, I'm glad that Rain did it. That guy deserves it.

Hey Capitalism,
Rain: "I don't care about the prize money that much. Even if it were just 20 million won like last time, I would still try my best."
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You can't look it that way. Even though he may have not used Oracles it was to his advantage that the current metagame encouraged it, making zergs fear possible oracle plays and altering their play because of it. Not that I know jack shit about pvz.
Anyways it's such a stupid assumption to make that Rain would be some kind of patch protoss.

The oracle buff never really affected PvZ as much as it did PvT and PvP. Oracles do slightly more poorly against Zerg due to Queens and their tendency to throw down spores upon scouting a Stargate
