I e-mailed gom support asking them to do so, I encourage all of you to do the same. How cool is Twitch about refunds if they don't get their shit together? There's no way I'm going to suffer through an entire year of watching 1-2 games before automatically knowing who wins a series. Twitch ist cool with refunds. Got mine after experiencing terrible lag, spoilers and a lot of rage ( ;-) ) No more GSL for me if they continue to use Twitch.

+ Show Spoiler + Dear "insert your name here", Although we value your feedback, we are going to proceed with broadcasting on TwitchTV for now. As for the issue with the TwitchTV VODs, we recommend that you send a email to the TwitchTV Support Team regarding this matter so that we can, one day, bring you a better VOD management system. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience! If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again! Thank you and kind regards, GOMTV.net Support Team So we hear a "we'll work with twitch to improve vods", I get a "contact twitch over those". Btw the "issues" I mentioned are simply the spoiler related ones posted a lot in this thread. Oh well at least they responded quickly.

+ Show Spoiler + Dear User, As you may know, the TwitchTV VOD management system is extremely different from the way the VODs were uploaded on the www.GOMTV.net website. We are still in talks with TwitchTV on how we can improve this service for our viewers. We would like to thank you for your feedback and these points are things we will take seriously into consideration.

Anyway, I don't think I can justify the $50 unless they can bring the VOD system close to their previous level. Being able to easily find the game I want in a spoiler free manner, possibly a week or two after the game had even been played, was perfect for me. But now... Ugh. Hopefully we get a proper response from them before the end of the year.

Just want to point out a few things - 1. I remember huge complaints about the quality of GOMTV and endless whinging about their vods and live games not being up to scratch, easily forgotten now, but worth remembering regarding the transition to Twitch 2. SC2 is on the decline, as much as we all hate it, companies that make a living off it have to adjust. I have noticed the decreasing numbers of views on GSTL and code A/S games. It was a subscription pay service yes, but their out-goings are massive - all the staff and commentator pay, prize money, studios, insurance, lighting, camera, tech equipment, hosting - they can't keep current model and go into a declining game, hence have to adapt 3. Adapting will involve certain language. GOM can't say "oh we're fucked, we have to drop SC2", they, as a company HAVE TO put positive spin on it always. No, it's not the end of the world. I tried Twitch there, yes the games are disjointed and the spoiler aspect is high, but it works. If GOM would have doubled their prices to cover the declining audience then I would have gladly paid, however I understand that most gamers on a budget probably couldnt cover, so we just have to make the best of it. Enjoy what we have now, the great competitions, the big tourneys, the prize money - stop fucking whinging and just enjoy it, it most certainly isn't going to last forever, and one day it will end (when Starcraft 3 comes out hopefully)

2.) How will past season VODs work? It looks like they are moving all past GSL seasons over to a new YouTube channel. Does that mean, as soon as the season ends, the VODs from the previous seasons will be free to watch? I'm guessing a subscription will not link between Twitch and YouTube. Seeing how the VODs are a disaster on Twitch, there is no way they can possibly store multiple GSLs all in the past broadcast section without it becoming a complete cluterfuck.. 3.) No mobile VODs... 4.) I guess some people say Twitch lags, too... It's great to hear Gom and Twitch are "in talks" about improving Twitch's crap to make this all possible, but is Twitch really going to bend over backwards just for Gom? I really hope this doesn't up being as big of a disaster as I think it will be considering the way Gom had progressed over the years, they had come up with a fairly elegant solution on their own website that included 720p VODs over the course of the past year. God help us all. Edit: That all being said, I'm still down for a subscription. Don't get me wrong, I'm In!

What a joke, it clearly doesn't have a "hold" on it since I made several purchases with it today... your dumb and dont understand internet banking. Because you've made purchase's your bank is holding it to make sure it's actually you buying things, instead of someone with your credit card details.

GomExp won't do anything since twitch is not their own website. I did notice GomExp did an effort by uploading some matches in one vod instead of seperate sets. If they would leave the break/cermony/interview in at the end of those longer pieces the outcome isn't directly spoiled by vod length.

I've followed Wolf over to the Kespa Proleague 2014 pre-season on Twitch. For $5.00, no sweat. The VODs are available on Youtube, but good luck watching them in order there. Could Kespa and GSL/GSTL ever combine forces completely? I'm very sad that GOM-TV is morphing to GOMExp. I get why, but I do scratch my head about Tanks. My 13 year old is a meh SC2 fan, and he thinks Tanks is not nearly as fun to watch as SC2.

Only 2012 is covered on the GOM eXP Youtube channel and very few special events actually have VODs on this. Edit: Ok so apparently: GOM eXP Official1 week ago Hold your horses, it's coming! We are currently uploading from 2012 => 2010 We predict that everything will be up by the end of Jan 2014 So I can't even rewatch MarineKing's old glorious moments :'(
