fOu will be ending the main sponsorship with FXO as of today(Nov. 1st) and will participate in matches with our new name.
The new name means that we are going to do our best to make our own utopia.
We are finished with our new uniform and amblem. Amblem was created by esF.
We will wear our new uniforms tommorow for our Nexon Sponsorship League match against Team Startale.
fOu head coach Choya would like to say thank you to FXO for everything they have done for our team.
He also said he will do everything he can do achieve results with the new teamname, and would like to tahnk
to the teammates who chose to stay with him through this difficult time, and the fans who keep supporting us.
We have a new site (http://fou.co.kr) which we will use to interact with fans.
We will keep our sponsorship with Razer and gamechosun

in another thread it was revealed that he had a change of mind because the fou brand was already very strong and starting from scratch would be harder from a branding perspective

Really like the new logo. Hopefully fOu finds some more sponsors soon - they still have some solid SC2 talent and their dota team is the best korean team right now.

Huh? I don't read that in the OP. I think they are just playing in some league that is sponsored by Nexon. And they lost FXO as one of their sponsors but they still have Razer and gamechosun.
Also interesting to me that they have a Dota 2 team. I thought the popularity advantage of LoL over Dota 2 was even much higher in Korea than elsewhere.

They invested in Dota 2 team that was way better than the other in Korea. AFAIK all the FXO Dota players used to live outside of Korea (USA and Australia?) and when they heard Korea was going to get serious about Dota they moved back. So they had a lot more experience than the rest, since the Dota 2 leagues in Korea are for Koreans only atm.
They pretty much won every single Dota tournament in Korea so was easy money and a good choice to pick them up.

I've always missed the fOu name. Brings back good memories of early SC2. Glad to see them bring it back.

why is this not labeled sc2 and dota2 ? Their Dota 2 will most likely win the Nexon Sponsorship League for $93k and are most likely the only chance for korea to get a spot for TI4 (it is a long way till then, but over all they could be lucky, becouse SEA is weak atm)

They got some advice in marketing and came to the conclusion that going back to an somewhat established brand is better than completely creating a new one. Which is the right choice.
