Announcement from ROOT
ROOT Gaming is sad to announce the departure of two of our players, YuGiOh and Kane. It’s important to us that all of our players have the best opportunity to Succeed (pun intended). With ROOT, the language barrier, time schedules and distance made it difficult to help YuGiOh achieve his goals as a player within the team. With the establishment of the gaming house, SEED and the acquisition of new players, we're taking a step back from 'Korea' and trying to focus a bit more on the NA scene and pool of talent.
ROOTKane brought us the SHOUTcraft championship within a month of joining, and we’re sad to see him go. Kane has elected to pursue opportunities in Europe, and unfortunately, our reach doesn’t quite extend across the pond. Kane’s talent and exuberance were great assets to the ROOT lineup, and we wish him the best of luck in his next adventure.
I would not be surprised if YugiOh or Kane was picked up fairly quickly by another team.

GL to both; both are very talented and shouldn't have a real issue finding a team - or so I would imagine.
As for "why", I imagine it's the usual - pick one or more of the following: salary disagreement, contract wasn't renewed, personality conflicts, got a better offer from another team, wanted to move to a different place/region, etc

Can you put some effort into the OP please. You don't really serve the community by running a race to get the first post off here :p <3

Does this mean Kane will start streaming again?
Hated that he stopped streaming once he joined a pro team

Good luck to both players on finding new teams. Less surprised about Yugioh leaving. He didnt really play in any SC2L matches besides the very first IIRC. It seemed like he wasn't as involved with the team as he was in the beginning. Kane was playing with them quite a bit but I understand the Europe part.

Surprising news. YuGiOh could end up with Axiom unless during the whole jessica debacle he was on the other side :o
|
At Dreamhack Valencia I got Yugioh to sign a Yugioh card of mine, it was the first one he's signed :D.
|
Both really good players, tough loss for ROOT. Kane's been #1 NA GM recently and Yugioh did very well at a recent Dreamhack. I'd expect both of them to get picked up.

YuGiOh to Kespa most likely, not sure about Kane tho. ANyways best of luck to YuGiOh, Kane and RootsGaming +(((((((
Sad to see so many xfers in the Sc2 scene.

Kane has a gm account with every race I thought on NA? I wish I was a natural. Gl to both.

I'd like Yugioh to go to Axiom. Kane I don't know. Being an American, it's usually either be EG, be TL, be Root or be irrelevant. ( CoL is kind of quiet these days )

Just remind him of that time when MMA, Ryung, and Ganzi were fighting over him as first pick in GSL because he was an easy win.

Looking at the potential players Sniper could kill in R1 the two best opponents he could kill to cause the most sadness is Seed and MKP. If he beats MKP, MKP could very well retire. If he beats Seed, it would be the 3rd time he was knocked out of the ro48 Code A.

Okey, I'm going all out on this one but I will offer Kane the following:
1. Some free space within my own room. 2. About 10 € per week + his own earnings in tournaments.
Conditions:
1. Be a good friend. 2. Teach me zerg.
Please drop whatever you got for this offer. It's all I can give.

Seems like such a weird excuse to say: "Hey bitches, praise us for focussing on the US scene. Oh, while we're at it, we're kicking the American champion to the curb."
Poor Kane, first he wins a tournament, now he's teamless and will probably join some irrelevant team like MYI before he goes the way of the dodo.
