Even then, if KHAN acquire MVP or at least some of their better players (think finale, KeeN, DongRaeGu, Sniper) that would provide a big boost to their roster imo, especially with the recent loss of JangBi.

Also it's not only about being able to compete, it's also about whether or not it's worth it for them to invest the time, effort and money to compete. As for the idea that they're worthy opponents, I think it's a bit early to say. Do we know yet whether or not IM and MVP will compete in ProLeague? Because that could change things up quite a bit. :/ Very true but I don't think it'd harm them at all as long as the entry fee for PL isn't too high. Their players get exposure where they otherwise wouldn't, the practice environment seems to be working great for them considering EGTL's dominance of pretty much every foreign tournament. And of course their improved players could imo compete. Look at Jaedong for example who smashed everybody at the WCS Finals or Taeja and aLive who both topped their groups. Revival winning IEM, HerO winning WCS America, etc. I think that in the long run they'd profit from being in PL.

Oh definitely, but there will still be a gap that needs to be filled, which MVP wouldn't be a candidate for anymore. That would leave us with Prime or IM as potential PL teams, I suppose.

The reason for this speculation is that it's a "reunion tournament" of the teams disbanded since 2007, so it's probably Broodwar. totally big letters...
