Interesting that KeSPA released all these statistics. But as some have noted, the spreadsheet only has real names, not IDs, so it's a little hard to use. So I wrote a script to try to match the names with IDs and TLPD id numbers, and then went through by hand to clean up things like players with the same name and names that weren't matched by my spider.
Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqZMqM7g4U1fdF9DZFljTk16WEFyVUp6YkVEcTBtVEE&usp=sharing. It should be the same as the original spreadsheet with four additional columns: wid, wltpd (id and TLPD number of the winner), lid, and ltpd (same for the loser). Note that 2v2 results are included and are listed on two separate lines.
Be warned, I did this pretty quickly, so it's very possible there are still errors. But hopefully someone will find it useful.

Really excited for another season, hopefully we will hear soon from any new attempts by EG / TL or other foreign teams.

I just realized... If Proleague's going back to the older shorter leagues, could we maybe squeeze in a BW cup? but that'd probably ruin their practice schedules never mind...

Are they going to use the new Kespa Cup for scouting new talents? It will help SC2 to grow.

Isn't it like normal Proleague with additional smaller cups in the meantime? Not sure how Kespa cups worked in BW, but that's what the OP implied.

I'm quite interested in the Kespa cup. The link provided to the previous Kespa cup stated there will be amateur Korean teams playing in it? I wonder which clans these will be? There are a number of good KR clans last I checked, maybe we'll see some upsets =D

I enjoy shorter leagues because it allows for more teams and players to become involved without breaking the bank. I think this might be the thought behind the decision.

Imo Hybrid SC2/BW cup where players can only specialize in one of the games. 6 games every match, 3 of each SC2/BW, every match played. Rankings/finals seeding based on map score/head to head in the case of tiebreakers, and bo7 ultimate tiebreaker where a game is picked by coin flip, and then losing team picks whether the next game was sc2 or bw, and which map it would be played on.
That, my friends, would be true competition.

I appreciate the effort!
Glad Proleague is returning, I like that the game I love to watch will continue to be played by the players I love to watch!

Awesome! Good news more proleague, love proleague

I'm assuming that since all those former eSF teams joined proleague EGTL will keep doing it as well, because that would be awesome.

Yeah. I remember first hearing them cast and I was like, who were these guys (in the good way)?
I really liked them. I didn't read any LR threads before then and sometimes I just kept the cast on while doing something else (without actually watching the game, it was really nice just listening).
Anyway, shoutouts to SMN if you're reading this .
I know there were some problems but I think people overstated them at times.

i can't wait for the return of the stx masters cup!

Sorry to anyone who was hoping I'd get the job, Kespa wasn't particularly happy to hear that I wanted to work with them after my audio cast of proleague last season. Hoping the new guy is up to snuff ^^
