I´m afraid it won´t help you with your case, but my name origins from my WoW warlock, and Gronner sounded fitting for a Warlock. So you may should look in your ID History. On the other hand you might want to look in mythology, especially nordic, germanic (German wiki, but the names are on the right http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordische_Mythologie) or some older religions look for a fitting Symbol, and then take its god. Put sty away from Thor and Odin :D They are already in use

In Dawn of War Soulstorm I was PaddyIrishman so people would stop asking me where I am from.

That became PaddyTheLad in DOW2 and just Paddy in SC2. My name is not actually Paddy. On TL and twitch Paddy was taken so I just threw in a z at the end.

I used to have alias MonkH shorted from Monkey Head there used to be a Professor Monkey Head in Earth Worm Jim before that I had worst alias ever -=][= The Destroy of Worlds =][=- which I later shortened to TDoW which was even worse.

When I started playing World of Warcraft I felt MonkH didn't fit so I looked up names online found Daeden on some babies names website which apparently meant guardian/protector and I was making a paladin so felt like it fit.

So now I use Daeden in most places except forums.

My forum name came from FFXI's random name generator. My level 1 BLM named Ayaz lol.

My SC2 name comes from my old BW name To)(ic. I was like 14 and thought it was cool I guess. I also thought mass dragoons was the best Protoss strategy of all time against all races and builds. Soooooo you can see how bright I was.

Took mine ages ago as i was reading the Kenshin manga ... used as a nickname and charactername in Ultima Online and started to be called Kenny by the people there until i got used to being called Kenny by most of the people i know. Stuck as a nickname in real live and the "oro" is obviously there because "Kenny" itself is taken most of the times

My name is MiserY, it felt like things in my life that i liked surrounded around misery (i.e. les miserables, "misery" from the beatles...) so it kinda fit.

my old name used to be NeaR from deathnote, but i prefer MiserY now xD

(also, my original name from BW was UrethRA hence my TL name, but SC2 wouldnt allow the word for some reason :I )

Name is James Foster. Gamer id went from Foster3000 on xbox live, Sc2 did not have any numbers so it went to Foster.
One of my friends would always say Fosta. so I changed my name to FosTA
