Edit: Oh Doodsmack... Sarcasm didn't make your post any less pointless, unfortunately. I guess that was the difference between you and me in this thread, I just tried to know what that eMG thing was, you tried to put words in my mouth and win an Internet argument. In the end it all worked out, I got my info, somewhat, and you won your Internet argument (I only got a D- ;_;) What's funny is that you back pedaled from your Internet argument in order to save face. And now you're just kind of obfuscating to try to gloss over that. "I get that it's that way with movie stars, but I don't know if eMG's existence is warranted yet". To claim you weren't making an argument is just dishonest.
No, he made the statement in the hopes that someone would challenge it and provide him with information about eMG. Its the new way of asking questions on the internet through argument and avoids that issue of looking like you don't know everything.

Lol this team will her 0 backing from me my wallet or my views signing this scum bag. I boo the man and the team that signs him. With no apologie to the community, he should be outcast. Such a joke. sub par performances, rude whiny attitude, and disrespect to the community as a whole should not make a starcraft personality or should such represent it.

Again with the dumb ass and completely uninformed post.
This should be one of those golden rules they teach you in pre-school. "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to yourself". This one should be "make sure you're informed before whining".

Nice for Idra. This will probably be better for him than EG ever was.

Well yes, since they are basically his agent. Agents don't care what you say or do, to them any publicity is good, unlike teams who dont want negative publicity hurting their sponsorship prospects. So now Greg can just be Greg and doesn't have to worry about it, unless he did something really truely awful, like killed someone, he will never be kicked off their books and will no doubt get a lot of work and be paid well for it.

I'm just curious. It seems SC2 players barely make enough to pay the rent. Event the most successful ones like Stephano cap out at a few hundred k. What money is there to pay agents let alone personalities such as Tasteless, Idra et all.
What is this business based on to afford a Las Vegas office and even a skeleton staff?

Be careful, people will think you're making an argument.

You'd be surprised, I think Tasteless and Artosis are seriously balling. There was a figure floating around that they are payed 25k for a three day weekend going together or ~8k for Artosis alone. Plus they have a steady job at GOM and they are immensely valuable for GOM's brand. Irreplaceable, I would say.
Just think how much Artosis must make to have a nice apartment, a girlfriend and a kid in Seoul. Check out Real Talk with Tasteless, his place looks like a place royalty would reside in.
Don't forget Youtube money, Handsomenerd dimes, and personal sponsorships.

I think you might be exaggerating with saying his place looks like royalty, but they do seem to make enough money from esports to be able to support themselves and live well off. This is their career they are probably making around the same as an entry job position out of college. So i wouldn't say they are rich or that they are barely making it through.

eMG seems to have an experienced management team. Was it founded just this year?

Can't wait to see some the new things he comes up with :D
