yea no idea what they are talking about, MVP would just have everything going for him in matches. It was honestly breathtaking back then.

Well...actually Idk about Mvp being that dominate.
He absolutely breezed through the offline events quite handedily.
but in online events, he looked very vulnerable.
Mvp also contributed to almost nothing in GSTL for his team who relied on guys like LosirA, yonghwa, and Yoda to win.
But Mvp was solid in every match up.

I think for MVPs run, he was dominant but to a certain degree.


Then case for Innovation.
He has won absolutely nothing so you cant compare him to the legends of Starcraft, but he has looked near (not fully) invincible in TvZ, TvP match ups. He's looked really shaky in TvT though, that it is a concern.
He's dominating the individual league but at the same time, he's carrying his STX Soul team hard...to the degree that they'd likely be 6-7th without him. In this case, his little run right now is reminescient of Jaedong/Flash's moreso than MVPs.
He's looked brilliant in both online/offline tournaments as well

Then obviously you didn't catch much of his play in 2011. It was ridiculous how easily he crushed everyone by just picking good builds and playing regular macro games, especially against Terran. For a good while he was heavily favored no matter who his opponent was.

MVP was also the only A-team Kespa player to switch to SC2 at that time. So that level of domination was expected when you have such a significant advantage over players who didn't have the same degree of experience. Switch any Kespa A-Teamer with MVP around that time and the result would have been the same or better. MVP clearly dominated but it's also clear that it wasn't against the best of the best either.

Besides that...Great interview! This upcoming match shall truly be a clash of titans!
