I've never seen a player in SC2 since the days of MVP-with-healthy-wrists being so secure and dominating in his play and radiating this much confidence like Innovation. He is taking this championship, 100%.

MVP never looked dominating to me, he just seemed to scramble and do weird timings or good strategic choices and win that way. Innovation just feels different with an incredibly solid standard game where he seems to do nothing special yet wins quite easily.
Moving out killing creep, operating on 3 bases and just slowly killing the zerg and it feels like Zerg can't do anything.

MVPs play was never the most stellar at times, and that's not what I remember him for, he innovated the Terran matchup multiples times and got things nerfed, his ability just to read opponents styles and crush them was made him a true champion.

Seems to me that neither of you were around when Mvp started his reign of terror, he dominated in every possible way a starcraft player can dominate another.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

This.
People should start watching MVP against back in 2011 where he rape everyone and won many major tourneys in just a short few months.

yea no idea what they are talking about, MVP would just have everything going for him in matches. It was honestly breathtaking back then.

Well...actually Idk about Mvp being that dominate.
He absolutely breezed through the offline events quite handedily.
but in online events, he looked very vulnerable.
Mvp also contributed to almost nothing in GSTL for his team who relied on guys like LosirA, yonghwa, and Yoda to win.
But Mvp was solid in every match up.

I think for MVPs run, he was dominant but to a certain degree.

Then case for Innovation.
He has won absolutely nothing so you cant compare him to the legends of Starcraft, but he has looked near (not fully) invincible in TvZ, TvP match ups. He's looked really shaky in TvT though, that it is a concern.
He's dominating the individual league but at the same time, he's carrying his STX Soul team hard...to the degree that they'd likely be 6-7th without him. In this case, his little run right now is reminescient of Jaedong/Flash's moreso than MVPs.
He's looked brilliant in both online/offline tournaments as well

Then obviously you didn't catch much of his play in 2011. It was ridiculous how easily he crushed everyone by just picking good builds and playing regular macro games, especially against Terran. For a good while he was heavily favored no matter who his opponent was.

Inno won't be able to find a similar training partner to SK, but honestly if SK wants, he should just train against Flash, assuming Flash/KT is willing to train with him. Inno/Flash plays very similarly tbh.

Well KT and Woongjin are best friends team so Flash will surely practice with SK if he asks. That plus Flash lost to bogus in ro16.

lol.

Innovation such a boss! It's also nice that he's not high and mighty but instead considers that Symbol could've beaten him, he's certainly got humility which is a good thing imo Thanks Seeker!

Kinda wish people would remember this when they throw Innovation under the bus for expectations other people (ahem, tastosis) give him. He's about the most humble dude there is.

MVP was also the only A-team Kespa player to switch to SC2 at that time. So that level of domination was expected when you have such a significant advantage over players who didn't have the same degree of experience. Switch any Kespa A-Teamer with MVP around that time and the result would have been the same or better. MVP clearly dominated but it's also clear that it wasn't against the best of the best either.

Besides that...Great interview! This upcoming match shall truly be a clash of titans!

Symbol went for a roach attack on Daybreak so I excluded the possibility of another roach attack in the next game and that's why I lost.

so I excluded the possibility of another roach attack in the next game

so I excluded the possibility of a roach attack

Innovation you silly boy....

And by the way the traduction looks a bit off, because he didn't lost the game after daybreak to a roach attack.

You are correct. I think TIG messed up on that one.
