Why only hate on EG/Root, you do realize Liquid was a part of this whole pizza thing too right...?

Really, you're going to boycott actual players and leagues because some meaningless comedy content hasn't been delivered (in whole)?
This is the prime example of complaining for the sake of complaining. Yes, they haven't followed up on their commitments, but they weren't very meaningful or important commitments to begin with. Honestly, it's better for everyone if they spend their time or money producing content that actually matters.

Yeah I get that upset cause I would honestly have not bought any pizza if not for the tiers im not a hige papa jhons fan I think their pizza tastes like shit, but I wanted to support the teams in anyway I could, but they get the support then cant come through on their end with some simple shit, it's bullshit.

"Weren't very meaningful or important commitments to begin with," says who? To some people they were very meaningful and it was a major part of the campaign (infact THE campaign). A part of it is also being played, and the act of breaking trust. People don't like being lied to and played. And also it's not like the event sounds like it would be impossible to pull off, quite the contrary, which is all the more salt in the wound.

I saw this on the front page of LoL reddit today. It was number 1 on that reddit with like more than a 1000 upvotes.
http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1lil38/dear_eg_some_of_us_might_forget_but_not_everyone/
The top comment on the thread is Krepo from EG LoL team explaining why their tiers did not get started yet.
We never had the time to complete this during normal LCS hours. We are completely aware of this promise and we've forwarded it to management (who made said promise). It's just not that easy to get it done as EG production is USA based and we're in Europe. I agree it's a little annoying for you guys. All i can tell you is that we're most definitely aware of it. Have a nice day

I was hoping it would turn into something with esports. But its whatever, it was just another deal to get you to spend money. At least the pizza I got tasted good.

The entire point is that these teams made up these promises and whatnot without making sure they would be delivered in a timely manner. Teams prioritize where their resources are going at which time. It has been determined that delivering on these promises is not a high priority in the slightest. That was not what we were told going into this. We were deceived. Say its important or unimportant, but that's not what matters. What matters is that these organizations lost credibility and somewhat falsely advertised.

What an awful post. So nobody should expect to get the results stated when monetarily supporting a cause?

So when someone says "If we reach this goal, this will happen", you are saying that it is not reasonable to assume "this" will happen? You do realize that there are a lot of organizations that deliver on promises, right? That's the point. Its normal for promises to be delivered on. These promises were made without advanced allocation of resources and planning. They came up with ideas and figured they'd do them when they have free time. That's not how its usually done.

So if hundreds of people buy Razor products, and tell them the reason they bought it was because they support sc2 teams, that doesn't increase the likelyhood that this company will continue to fund sc2 teams? Investing in sc2 sponsors doesn't help esports?
I can't even just dismiss you as overly cynical because what you are saying isn't even logical.

The drama lhamas continue their search for things to pitchfork. Cheap pizza and the apology from EG krepo for being late is not enough for them. Their outrage over the lack of YouTubes and a pizza party during an NA event cannot be stopped. They will be outraged about something, and this is it for today.

As long as investing marketing budget into SC2 pays off for them more than investing it elsewhere, they will continue to do it. They will not get attached to an abstract idea like esports from it.

I find there is a disproportionate amount of outrage compared the wrong that was done in any given threat. Rarely does the anger seem relative to the harm done. Also, when the drama does get stirred up, the same posters jump into every thread to sow their negativity. So as much as I defend groups and people, there are equal or more people who just live to tear down whoever they can.

I think you should migrate to a website that actually does live to tear down whoever they can, TL is pretty tame. You can get the maximum effectiveness of your efforts somewhere like /vg/.

Who the hell cares if they are attached to it? Should I care if the Razer CEO doesn't watch sc2 8 hours a day? Pro sc2 is nothing without sponsors. Supporting esports sponsors supports the scene because it gives them a reason to put money into the scene. And companies putting money into the scene is good right? What part of this don't you understand? I don't even know what you are trying to argue anymore.
