I didn't think this would affect me as much as it has, but seeing Incontrol on SOTG and damn, I wasn't always Idra's greatest friend and I know he's not died or anything, but to lose one of your friends from your team like that must be completely horrible for Incontrol.

I know Idra has always to camera been very stubborn and sometimes arrogant and he rages quite a lot, but I'm sure deep down he's not all that much bad of a guy and I hope that he can relax a bit more and maybe take a break for a while.

This is kind of a shock, purely on the fact that it’s such a big move by EG, but realistically they probably should’ve done it long before this. I wonder if he’ll even bother to find a new team, or perhaps now that he’s lost his EG nest-egg he’ll develop a new-found ‘enthusiasm’ to improve (though the best time to do that would’ve been when he had all the resources of EG to utilise).
Regardless, as an outsider the impression I’ve got is that he hasn’t even tried to improve at this game in the last couple of months. During the early HotS beta it actually looked like a new IdrA, one who I actually enjoyed watching whenever he streamed (which I had never done before). I don’t know what happened since then, also can’t help but feel a certain smugness about the “I get paid to treat you like it” comment. Apparently Idra, you don’t.

I like idra as a person and a player, his ideals for the game are things i can agree with. And his ability to reach the level of notoriety he has is impressive. But notoriety can cost you and it did with his placement. Either he will be picked up fast or not at all now.

Its not unexpected for me I presumed it was going to happen after recent events. The guy just doesn't enjoy the game and doesn't respect his opponents so it was obvious that he became a liability today

Well,i think it was about time ! Since he didn't really show any results worthy of a team such as EG for a long time.
Business is business,its only natural.

Moreover i think it would be for the best for Idra's life,i mean he didn't pursue his studies for playing starcraft 1,he is 23 and has yet to start his college formation...Now is a good time to get his life back on track and get his diplomas,its the sage decision to take.
