Although, Polt should clean house seeing as he lives in Texas now. But he only really practices on Korean ladder so he's going to have to put in some work on NA to get top 16. Neither Polt nor Demuslim can compete, they don't have a green card nor do they have citizenship. I agree, I think this is awesome of TB to a) continue his SHOUTcrafts and b) do something huge for the AM scene!
I'll definitely tune in (time difference permitting)!

Sick tournament, can't wait to watch it! Seems cooler than WCS NA imo.

Thanks for making this happen, Genna & TB! Sounds like it will be heck of fun.

C'mon Moosgills - climb, climb! Drunkenboy and Neeb are up there but I can't find the badcop.

So if I am a resident on a student visa I cannot participate? That's a bit ridiculous, don't you think?

i doubt that demuslim has a permanent resident status.
probably just a working visa, due to the contract on EG

Here's to hoping for TB and Apollo to get back in the booth together. Looking forward to it, much more so than the WCS at this point.

Looks like TB and Genna are the 'Bain of Blizzard' *chuckles to myself*
But serious this is gonna be awesome. We need tourneys that help bring to light the greatness of local scenes.

Splendid! I love it. Hope everything goes well and there are no hackers/problems with selecting the top16 GM players.
Good luck to TB and Genna.
P.S. Thanks Genna for making this tournament.

this are very awesome news! im very exited with this new tournament

Now if only DeMusliM's green card would arrive before the end of the ladder season... I'm stoked, hopefully QXC, and all the 'merican fan favorites can get in

The idea of making this ladder based is a fantastic one, encouraging people to play on the NA ladder seriously which should raise it's skill cap.
The only thing i wonder about is the exclusivity of the GM ladder, maybe it would be better just to say players with the top 16 points in all of master league? Or is it safe to say that if you are that high you will always make it into GM regardless of the exclusivity?

Woohoo! Love TotalBiscuit!

do you get wcs points for this league ?

Sounds like an amazing tournament! Will give it a watch!
Really starting to look like Demuslim would be better off out side of America. Although he has fostered one of the largest fan bases (more people watching Demuslim than MLG the last few days with 12k veiwers each day/night) and is one of the best foreign Terran's, he has been kinda screwed by every tournament so far in America. (hots)

This. Is. Awesome. Super excited to see what comes out of this, great initiative from Genna and TB, this is the WCS I've been waiting for ;D!

He was right about calling the EG house a frat house (which is pretty much admitted by them now, because they're feeling the need to create another "real" training house now) and he's right about strenghtening the NA scene.
Sad that he's decided not to make a foreigner team with Axiom though, i believe that he's one of the few who could actually help his players to be on the level to compete with Koreans.
TB is great however I need to clarify one point. Genna Bain is the primary organiser of this event. TB is the man behind the mic but Genna is the one behind the scenes calling many of the shots and specifically organising this event. Perfect husband and wife team!
That said i also agree and have said so many times that another Korean team was a wrong move. I like all the Axiom players (especially like Alicia even though I am zerg!) but mass Koreas everywhere is not growing our sport.
