I'm obviously in no place to tell someone what they should be doing with a project of their own, but this whole situation would make more sense if he skipped just about everything beyond talking about the meta-game. Just my opinion about it all. | ||

Litterally two posts before his post someone wrote this as a response to removing theognis who wasn't very entertaining; True, but this is still a show... and i'm sorry to have this opinion, but theognis is far from entertaining... So even if it would be another terran it should be a personality, like DeMuslim.. In fact he would be extremely great to have on this show Yeah, on ITG DeMusliM speaks no more than 5 minutes total on the entire show. Yes I really have no idea what those people who want Demuslim on the show are thinking. Demuslim isn't a show-kind of guy. He is a great player and a nice guy and has a pretty entertaing stream, but he isn't suited for discussing stuff. Theognis is actually more interesting in that regard and has more depht in his balance thoughts. Demuslim is very simplified in that regard as he takes the role of a player: "X is very strong and I have trouble dealing with it. I need to to B instead of A to counter it." But what you want as a host in a show is more this type of thinking; "X is very strongs vs A and C, but having X is strong is neccesary for various balance reasons. If I chose strategy B then I would have to do F in the early game which puts me at risk against ..............". The latter is IMO just a lot more interesting and involves much more reflection. | ||

I think Theognis is great on the show, and I also think Demuslim does have valuable insight into the game if you've ever seen him analyze replays on his stream. I don't even play terran and I think it'd be great to have both of them on the show at some point though I'm not sure how realistic that is. Anyways was just stopping in to say I enjoyed the show and I hope it can remain a consistent. | ||

Details on why they split is entirely not my place to comment on and either way, I know jackshit about it and I think its hardly relevant. After Dan approached me to be on the show with him this week, JP approached me to be on SotG, I was happy to agree and let him know I was gonna be in Artosis show in case there was any issue with that. There wasn't, mOOnglaDe and Theognis were contacted by Dan, I didn't know what the lineup was until the call started 10 minutes prior to the show, funnily enough we all had sepparetly agreed to be on both shows this week, without knowing who the other guests on either show would be, it was a pleasant surprise to find theo and andy in the call, but it also made me feel a bit 'guilty' because I realized the lineup was the same as SotG, msg'd JP and made sure we're cool which we are and we agreed we'd love to work together again in the future, as for SotG, I am not sure what will happen, truth is speculating isn't cool, I am sure that both Dan and JP have their side of the story for whatever reason they decided to sepparate, i'll be happy to be a guest on either show whenever invited, perhaps not both on the same week to not be redundant and boring to the audience. Anyways bottom line is, Artosis and JP are both awesome and I consider them both friends, mOOnglade, theognis and myself don't really "own" either show, we're happy to participate because its a nice platform to voice our opinions, talk about shit we all love, have a good time and get some good exposure while at it, you guys should stop reading too much into it, speculation on who did what and why is gonna get you nowhere, watch a show, watch both, watch none, that's all up to you. Unless either Dan or JP decide to release a statement i'd say just stir away from speculation, it does nothing but to create unnecessary tension and a shitty atmosphere. | ||

Let him keep streaming, he is good at that, but anyone who (objectively) look at what he actually says at ITG cannot claim that he is interesting as a host. | ||

It seems to me that this is comparable to taking out the unnessacary middle man who hasn't worked hard enough to make his own services valuable (for anything besides nostalagic justification). To be honest, Demuslim doesn't really have any problem talking when he's asked questions. He needs to be more eager to talk by himself and fight for the spotlight, though. What has he said during ITG that was interesting? That oracles were strong? Please give me just one interesting comment from him. | ||
