On a more positive note, I really enjoyed the show, can't wait for the next one. Wouldn't mind seeing Nonys thoughts on the meta game!

Lets be real though, the format was SOTG minus JP, and they went straight into it with no explanation. Of course it's going to look like JP just got the boot. I never really pegged Artosis as a type of guy who could do something like that but it's pretty much indisputably what happened and I have to say this definitely has changed my opinion of Artosis a bit, its one thing to start up your own competing show (He has every right to do so), but to take all of hosts from SOTG and bringing it to his show is like having a band go separate ways only to reform with a new drummer or something. A lot of what JP does goes unnoticed and is under appreciated, he pretty much built the SOTG brand to what it is given the fact that the show has had different hosts during different periods while still remaining the premiere show, given we don't know exactly what happened I won't make any accusations but I can derive that JP pretty much got efed over here and left to dry by Artosis. (Whether it was mutual or not) If your reading this JP a lot of people still support you/care about the product you produce and will continue to do so as long as you keep producing good content which you can do without these guys hopefully

I'm really disappointed with Artosis and even more so with Theognis, Catz and Moonglade. JP brought them onto HIS show (SOTG) and gave them exposure (how many knew who Theognis was before SOTG??) and now they go ahead and screw him over. How is JP gonna find new guests for SOTG at such short notice? Hopefully JP recovers from this ![]()

It's like he's avoiding the issue on purpose or something, which is the cause of leading to so much speculation on what is happening. I like the content, but just not the right way to start something 'new' off in my own opinion. Ye, I really like the idea of gameplay discussion as opposed to drama shit, but I think he should have let the show cook in the oven a little longer. The cryptic hype video made it look like something mysterious and unique, then it ends up giving off the impression of being SOTG - JP + production, despite the content being different. It's totally cool if they didn't want to talk about TMZ style stuff and JP was holding that back, but they might as well come out and say it is what it is if they're going to have the exact same panel and layout as SOTG.

You don't give any information and all the doubters will just continue saying that "nobody knows the whole story" so you can't really judge. This goes on for several days and if no new information is put forward the story dies being replaced by whatever the next story is. Unless JP mans up and gives his side of the story or defends his show there really is zero reason for Artosis to ever speak about it. And of course if JP isn't even going to defend himself or SoTG then why should anyone else care about it. I'm anxiously waiting to see what happens.

I mean, some may dislike JP but he really brought a lot with SotG and I feel a lot of the times he gets no support at all. I remember when SotG was on hiatus for a while, a lot of the comments were mostly negative (despite the fact that VODs are free and he didn't even have to do the shows in the first place). I definitely will still keep watching SotG. On April 24 2013 15:14 Bart wrote: THIS IS MUTINY!!! I'm really disappointed with Artosis and even more so with Theognis, Catz and Moonglade. I regularly watch Inside the Game and State of the Game (and the Pulse) as much as I can. Anyway, a lot of speculation is good IMO as discussion like this helps raise awareness of what may potentially be going on. It really sucks in any circumstance for something like this to happen. I don't know what happened behind the scenes but until we find out, I won't just ditch one show for another. To be fair though, I can think tons of valid reasons for something like this to happen (we'll have to see if JP has an explanation of both of them don't say anything). SotG can definitely do well still. I liked the episodes when SotG returned (which didn't feature any of the old/regular guests) and quite enjoyed those episodes too (since they were talking a decent amount about the game and events). I'll definitely still watch SotG, and I hope others will too. (While I like Artosis, I feel like other people, especially pro players, can give as good discussions as him. Again, when SotG returned without Artosis, I really enjoyed those episodes as well as the episodes with Artosis in it.) Edit - Again, I do know there are tons of valid reasons for this to happen. We'll have to wait and see. I guess in a way, Artosis being silent on the subject is probably the best way to go. Being silent on something is better than hating on another show or bringing in the drama.

I watched every episode of SotG and will continue to watch Roll Play but lets be honest, SotG is good in spite of JP's hosting, not because of it. Meta seems to be a better show, and JP seems to be transitioning into just another youtube let's player, which is pretty lame.
