I can't imagine Artosis as a host is going to work out over the long run. Artosis is a smart guy, very knowledgeable about Starcraft and an excellent caster, but he's no host. A host needs to set the guests up with a question and then back out while they have a conversation, prompting it along if necessary. In all the years I've watched Artosis in casts and on shows I've never seen anything to suggest that he'd be good in that role. JP is good at it, Day[9] is really good at it as well. Artosis is going to want to have his say in every topic and that's just not appropriate for a host.

I don't think he is acting as a host, he is the protoss high level player on the show.

This is not cool...I really respect artosis but this was a really nasty thing to do. I enjoy the shows but I don't think I can bring myself to support a literal copy of State of the Game minus the founder and Host..

I find it hard to believe Artosis would intentionally fuck over JP that bad. Those guys are friends, or at least it seems that way. I may be wrong, but until we hear from JP lets not rush to conclusions. Artosis may have his total and complete blessing.

Artosis just needs to make a D&D show where he plays a quiet, well-mannered, half-gnome warrior with light green boots.

I mean Tasteless was talking about streaming himself playing video-games. Maybe the casting archon is actually a dark archon and they're trying to maelstrom JP's career.

It's one thing to make your own show about starcraft strategy, but its almost an exact replica of sotg and it feels like it was literally stolen. If JP gives this show his blessing, then ill give it ago, but other than that, ill continue to watch sotg for my strategy fix.

Personally I can't really see that working out to be honest - they essentially covered everything sotg usually covers and I can't see a situation working with these hosts like the one you had with itg and sotg.

The show seems nice, doubt I'll watch it much as I watch a lot of these guys stream/Artosis cast and they talk about the same stuff.
