After playing content catch up the past few weeks on top of some other major developements, we are finally back on track with all of our content.
A solid chunk of those developments are announced below, but we have even bigger things coming to the public in the next couple of weeks. I hope you are excited, because we most definitely are!

While we had been hoping to use this week’s Wrap Up to announce the launch of our website, we are saddened to have to say that there are continual delays from the production side. The Clarity media team is aware that our website’s splash page still claims that the site will be online on April 1st; we should probably simply amend that to “Soon™”. Please be patient as the website is looking amazing so far and we don’t want to release it until we are happy with the final product! The current ETA for completion is Sunday 4/28. Hopefully our web developer will avoid making us liars past this third week.

Despite all of that, it is our pleasure to announce, on the 'eve' of our new website’s launch, that Clarity Gaming will be announcing details for a community team in conjunction with the finalized inaugural Academy roster. This community team will act as a springboard for players of all skill levels who are interested in getting involved in any fashion with the intent to work towards a spot on the Academy. If you are at all interested in this opportunity, please email clarityacademy@gmail.com to be added into our existing skype chat. More information outlining the foundation of this community team will be released along with the website.

Following many weeks of negotiations, Clarity Gaming is proud to say that Manuel “cSwaP” Sepulveda has been made a part of the Clarity family as the team’s primary representative to Latin America.
Following MLG Dallas, the staff of Clarity Gaming decided to look into some of the inequities in esports. Our research concluded that, despite significant effort on the parts of all parties involved, Pan-American esports is nonexistent. After consultation with one of our star players, Felipe “cKiLLeR” Zuñiga, we decided to reach out to Manuel and inquire about possibilities of promoting Latin American esports communities and casters to spanish speakers in the United States and, possibly, expanding the Clarity Gaming brand in Latin America.
Manuel is uniquely qualified to act as a liaison between Spanish speaking Latin America and the United States. We are excited to have him on the team and look forward to expanding both Latin media in the United States as well as our own presence in Latin America.
Coming Soon: Pan-American doesn’t just mean USA working hand in hand with Latin America. Maybe there might be an announcement of an announcement of some sort of Canadian Dealings for Clarity... More to come in the next couple of weeks! We know by now you must be loving the content (announcements of announcements) of this post thus far. Bare with us for a couple weeks more, we promise it will be worth the wait!

Blizzard rocked the Starcraft scene with their WCS announcement. We at Clarity Gaming were absolutely thrilled to see that our very own cKiLLeR ended up at the very top of the North American rankings. He will be participating in the WCS up and down matches in the coming weeks while the rest of Clarity will be vying for spots through the immense open bracket systems.

As alluded to previously, there is an imminent zombie invasion. You might have to hide in some tombs the first week... What? Well, something like that. Project ZombieGrub is almost ready for the press. Expect an independent official announcement on this show within the next week. We think it will be a lot of fun for everyone involved.

It is with great sorrow that Clarity must announce that Chad “Drone” Dallyn will be stepping down as Clarity Gaming’s player manager. Chad has been a part of this organization since before its inception and has been an integral part of the team. His dedication with regard to all aspects of his job has been unparallelled. There is no doubt that his expertise and experience shaped what Clarity Gaming is today. This is seen not only in the structure of the Clarity training regimen but also in the player line up of the pro team. His influence on roster decisions dictated how Clarity gaming was viewed and through whom our cause would be championed.
While Chad will remain part of the team in an advisory capacity, we would like to take this time to thank him for all his hard work. Clarity Gaming would be a very different organization without his part in building its foundation. Thank you Chad, and good luck to you in your future professional endeavors in the engineering world!

LAN Event: Clarity Gaming at CyberCraft LAN in Flushing NY Sunday 4/21

This coming Sunday cKiLLeR, cShuttle, and possible cShew and cMotoK will be attending the CyberCraft LAN in Flushing NY. Depending how the latter two players do in their Saturday WCS NA Qualifiers will determine their attendance. Regardless Clarity will be making an appearance and looks forward to meeting and hanging with some other local NY and Tri-State Area gamers.

A month ago today we launched our Player Academy. More information on how to apply for future consideration may be found HERE.
After some restructuring of the 16 man Finals tournament due to player schedule conflicts, we are running 4 groups of 4 man round robin pool play. The top 2 of each group will be seeded into a 8 man finals bracket for their last shot to make top 4 placement and earn a spot on the inaugural Academy roster. 2 of the 4 groups played last weekend, the dates for the rest may be found below:
Important Dates:
Saturday 4/20 8PM EST: Groups A&B play cast by ZombieGrub and Muataran, observed by Kuren.
Saturday 4/27 8PM EST: 8 Man Final’s bracket cast by cWyrd and ZombieGrub, observed by Kuren.

After the first two weeks in URTL, Clarity’s pro roster is 2-0 after defeating team DuSt 4-1, and receiving an unfortunate walk over against Atlas Gaming. Clarity has a week off this week, but we’ll have more details and results with the next Bi-Weekly Wrap Up.
