Lets see... best CounterStrike team, won The International and placed second in DOTA 2? Who knows if this will amount to anything really but if its up to the Na'Vi standard they'll be the best EU team someday! Not saying na'vi isn't a great organization that has had a lot of success in the past, but saying they have the best cs teeam after nip just went on a 87 map win spree is kinda ridiculous (also that would ignore a lot of early - mid 2000s esports history) and despite na'vis success in dota (which is still just one game) they are far away from being chinese...

Their line-up isn't exactly full of all-stars either. And I could have sworn that Na'Vi already tried this a while ago... and they were overhyped and then completely flopped. Regardless, best of luck to this team... I'm definitely a fan of Babyknight ![]() Indeed, it's déjà vu! http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=212171 Good luck to them I guess, can't say I've set my expectations too high though.

NiP had their 87 map streak in CS:GO though, which is far from being as popular or as competitive as 1.6, and Na'Vi was by far the most dominant in the last few years of its existence as an eSport. Though I agree that best CS team should go to Fnatic or the Golden Five. As regards Dota 2, they defeated many Chinese teams to place 2nd at TI2; they still won the most prize money, and are still the most decorated, depsite them not being as dominant x) Na'Vi's manager talks about gathering the best players in the world, so I'd expect some additions to this team!

CS:GO is far more popular now, 1 year later, compared to what CS 1.6's last 2 years of e-sports were. And it's way more competitors right now since both CSS and CS 1.6 scene combined into competiting in 1 game. But most importantly, the most successful fnatic was again with player like f0rest, GeT_RiGhT and somewhat still on top with Xizt. What's a surprise to me is Fifflaren and friberg. People don't give much attention to the new players and how good they adapted into the team. Remember that Na`Vi didn't change lineup in the past 2 years while NiP is a completely new team that was made when CS:GOo went competitive. But in the end - any time with f0rest, GTR and 3 more can compete with the Golden Five (the PGS era) for the 'best team ever' award. Dota2 anyway - Na`Vi is definitely the top foreigner team in my eyes, tightly competing with nth. Aaaand back on topic: Dimaga is teamless right now, so I'm really surprised they didn't pick a fellow ukrainian.
