It would be bad to be left hanging in 5 years. Truth. There's some brutal honesty in the video. best of luck to you stephano for the last 6 months/longer if you decide to play.

I can honestly say I will miss him greatly if he quits. What ever he does though, is the right decision. You don't, ever, want a career you don't enjoy, and I respect him for wanting to quit for something else he wants, if he isn't enjoying SC2 anymore. Let's just hope for the best, Good luck Stephano!!!

This man was the last spark of hope for the foreigner scene. The cap from him to the next was very large! None else has done what he has consistently! Not only that, he was a very entertaining personality too! As a zerg player he was incredibly inspirational! I understand his decision though - taking an education is the most fun and awesome thing I have ever done personally! It's the best ![]() Best of luck to him! Hope he crushes some Koreans on the way out ![]()

I really don't think he's going to retire just yet. He'll probably see what happens at the next few MLGs and Dreamhacks. I definitely don't see him fading quietly from tournament results then retiring, if he stops being able to compete at the level he wants he'll just peace out, but I think he'll be able to have a bounce back this year once his mindset post-Korea resets a little bit. ♥ Stephano. I would really like to see him pull off some of his trademark nonchalant badassery again.

Good to see he's still sharp and has a good understanding of the world he lives in! That's actually one of the few videos where he didn't play that part IMO ... he's showing lucidity that's what people don't like ... It's always annoying to see a smart person who's conscious about it and doesn't act with fake modesty (eventhough a bit more modesty [not faked] would not hurt him)
