Oz is, for my money the best build preparer bar none of Protoss players. He also has passable English and did, iirc some psuedo-coaching in FXO as well. Will be great for team cohesion and for Proleague I can see him being a real useful guy to have around. He may have never really achieved the result I think his play merited, and may never win individual leagues, but for innovative, map-specific builds Oz is king. (That or mancrush speaking) Alive is pretty much Puma, except probably in a bit better shape of late. Horrendously underrated player, if HoTS doesn't throw him off that is, he's been a top 10 Terran for pretty much the duration of WoL, albeit I'm not sure where he is now especially with the Kespa players inexorable rise. I think this is a positive sign as well regarding Proleague. If EG wanted players for picking up easy money from foreign tournaments, these two are not really a step up from Puma and there were other potential pickups there who would be great for that purpose. This to me, reading between the lines is EG bolstering their Korea-based players eligible for Proleague. They mightn't salvage this season and make the playoffs or whatever, but I definitely see them salvaging pride for their next run.

This coming from me, even. ![]() But...they are nice guys, really likeable ;-) Guess fnatic will be happy if they get Naniwa now, for less costs Anyways, EG looks pretty stacked now, maybe some foreigners leave (and hop over to fnatic instead haha)

Speaking english is pretty irrelevant now, they have only Koreans in the house and it'll probably stay that way for quite a while/a long time. Pretty close to that though. Proleague record is abysmal, gameplay looked weak and whenever he goes to foreign tournaments he often loses to foreigners. They left the scene on a pretty bad note and now are back quietly and nobody can really estimate how good they are right now. EG needs solid meat for the roster. Also, just because I'm curious, why would they be bound to StarTale? sC got back into his old team and he was also playing LoL instead of practicing for Code A before he switched. In my opinion CoCa and Puzzle were both better than sC in their prime and players with their potential would make good pickups for any team as long as it's ensured that their motivation is completely there again. About StarTale, it's just that they absorbed ZeNEX so the two renegades should have some buddies there and they were said to be practicing with StarTale players with the coach observing when first rumours about them switching back came out. I really don't know what their status is now, maybe we'll learn more during Code A qualifiers.
