If EG signs 2 short contracted players then Naniwa its very possible assuming they don't want to take a big risk considering Naniwa's attitude sometimes.
Would be cool

Oh that bitter bitter attitude...

Might want to watch all of the interview. You know, the part where he actually gets to say things about him.

Also NOOO please don't EG... on the other hand, with his bad attitude he might be able to stay only for a short time so that THE CURSE cannot attach itself to him x-D

ABOUT TIME! Naniwa well deserves a team, one of the best foreigners for a long time. I hope all goes well, Axiom or FXO would be sick. Grubby+Naniwa, the WC3 contingent for FXO.

hmm interesting. I love NaNiwa's drive to do good but I don't think either him or ThorZaiN are the king of the Swede's. I think this is SaSe's year to shine and to claim his deserved throne.

Naniwa is much more confident and intrinsically-motivated than him ^^.

EG.Naniwa me thinks =p

I always thought Nani would be the future of foreigners back in WOL-prime and now he would be the last hope imo. Handle this Nani.

Haha, this is great. I’m not actually a big fan of Naniwa but I wish more players were willing to call out other players who they think are bad or inferior to them. Also I do agree with the idea that under the right conditions he can be a real force to be reckoned with, his consecutive GSL RO8 alone should be proof of that. Will be interested to see how this all pans out.

Really? I was under the impression that he and Sase were good friends, figured he’d be happy for him.

I don't understand why people are comparing Thorzain with Naniwa at the moment.
There were moments when Thorzain was clearly better (after his TSL3 win he had a moment with very ingenious builds played perfectly and later when he showcased great play in team leagues) and others when it was Naniwa (in 2011 during the Blizzard invitational or during his GSL runs) but neither one of them was able to maintain his level at the best.

Now WOL just finished, we have absolutely no way to compare them, Thorzain has just lost one serie and Naniwa has not play anything. I think we should let them play before starting to argue about who is the best.

Indeed we have no big tournaments or whatever to compare them in, but to everyone who watched Thorzain's play in MLG and Naniwa's play in E-sport-SM yesterday, I think most will agree that Naniwa's play just looked way cleaner and at a higher level than Thorzain's.

Well you have seen one match by Thorzain in TvZ which was never his best MU against Killer who is a fine player with an original style (he did not attend every tournament like the so-called "patch zergs" but he had good results during this time).
Thorzain absolutely crushed Socke as well during the qualifier in the MU where he always excelled.

Naniwa has only beaten Swedish players unknown in the international scene aside from Starnan who has never been a top contender. You have to keep in mind that the player you are up against has a big influence on how well your style is perceived. Especially with Naniwa's greedy style who looks absolutely unstoppable if you don't do the right decisions. I haven't watched E-Sport SM but I wouldn't build my opinion on this tournament.

Naniwa has only beaten Swedish players unknown in the international scene?
