The streaming. It's nice to get to watch your favorite players practice. Sometimes, you (by "you," I mean "I") wonder if they even are practicing.

I'd be really interested to see if the GOMTV numbers went way up. It seems impossible for them not to............ Edit: Also, I'd venture to say Jaedong lost so many viewers because Stephano and him streamed simultaneously for 30-40% of the time (it seemed), and they surely share a large percentage of their viewer-base. i actually observe a peak of 20K (20089) views when stephano playing, if DRG, its only 16K, so i am not entire sure the average viewers number is a good critique, might just use the peak number? For yesterday, the peak number for PL is 6K while GSL is 21K,that really said something there.

So, making a GSL vs Pro League in terms of numbers is useless if you don't have the total numbers to compare. clearly its not useless, theres only one english cast for proleague in terms of the korean viewers, it wont be a catching number, since lol is far far popular in Kr, and SC2 is over 20 in game rank. You can easily judge by yourself by looking at the actual audiences that showed up at the studio.

EG should be quite happy with those numbers since I'm sure EG has a streaming requirement in their contracts for minimum hours. Also a good way for the players to get some extra bank ^^

Could you check where Koshka (twitch.tv/koshka) ranked? She must have been close as she averaged about 140+ viewers for 80+ hours. (estimates) Great work as always.

May: 981 viewers June: 811 viewers July: 705 viewers August: 701 viewers September: 636 viewers October: 506 viewers November: 459 viewers December: 463 viewers January: 667 viewers Yes viewers did go up this month in comparison to the abysmal months of nov/dec but chances are it was because of the lack of tournaments in January making it an anomaly. I'm not with the "omg end of sc2" crowd but the viewer numbers are going down. I guess you can say the sc2 bubble popped and only the core viewers will stay while the flavor of the month crowd goes to another game to spectate.

According to my data, she had an averaged ~130 viewers last month with a peak of 401. The streaming time is ~67 hours, making this a v*h rating of ~8722. The 50th place of this month's list has a v*h rating of 11758, so she's not quite there yet. The competition has gotten harder in the last few months, though. She would have been 44th in November's top 50 list with those stats.

Grubby's recent results haven't been amazing, and idra is a whole 130 elo ranks ahead of grubby.
