Snute is the next EU talent. He can defeat Koreans. He is not famous yet. Perfect fit for liquid. I wouldn't say that he's not famous yet. He's been a well known player for a while now.
Well-known? I'm not so sure about that. Like I've said on multiple occasions he's an awesome dude and a very talented player and in fact he has been very good for a long time now. But let's not forget the rampant mentality in this community that "lol if u dont win a major lan u are a nobody son".
Stephano, the biggest foreigner superstar, had been crushing nerd faces online since spring 2011 if not even earlier, nobody gave a shit until IPL 3. Nerchio, probably the epitome of online devastation, had been doing just as well for even longer if I'm not mistaken, most of the community didn't give a shit until HSC V and DreamHack. So yeah.

Well, Snute won HSC VI. He's definitely known now.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Snute would be a perfect fit. Nice, well-spoken and more importantly extremely skilled.

Nice to see TL picking up a new foreigner and a european at that after the Korean streak and losing Jinro and Hayder.
Assuming this actually happens.

I would agree if not for the fact that because of the scheduling (same weekend as Blizzard Cup) and other factors such as player results and race distribution this tournament seemed to be probably the least hyped and exciting they've put on, at least since HSC I / II but it wouldn't be really fair to compare it to those for obvious reasons.
Anyway, enough of this. We should be focusing on giving him the exposure and recognition that he deserves. Though I'm sure joining TL would do wonders for that.

And those who consider terrans and protosses, are there people you might think could interest TL?

race wise = not really. Race doesn't matter.
I agree. It should not be a factor.
It could be though... Looking at team competitions.. would it not be better to have a variety of races?

So which Toss or Terran (foreigners prefered) would suit better then?
|
If true, this is welcoming news for me. Snute's a fun player and I'd be glad to see him on a great team like Liquid'.
|
Well, with the lack of results and stagnation, I've lost the hope for the foreign division of TL a long time ago. But now I realize that there is one I might call king...

Not that adding Snute wouldn't be awesome, but I'm still waiting for Liquid'Illusion (free agent now as well with Quantic disbanding). Maybe not better, but equal imho.
I mean come on, it even sounds awesome!

With regards to the above mentioned Zerg power of the Tl-lineup:The Zergs aren't constant or reliable enough for teamleague performances( ie TL's Zergs, not EG-TL's), imho. Yet, would Snute Help? he pretty much fits in the pattern of talented yet unstable (performance wise) Z players on Liquid. a bit more depth on the Terran and or Toss side of Liquid would tremendously improve the TLonly-teamleague-lineup. That, or a top notch zerg

Comments on gamespot are quite silly.

But... but Parting... Snute is cool though, congrats to him if it's true. He's got huge potential for sure.

Give Snute some time. Anyway, right now Snute is definitely TL's best Zerg.

The last one made me laugh, though:
Wow, lot's of moving and shaking going on in the Starcraft II world. Glad Gamespot.com's on top of reporting the latest and greatest! What's a Zerg!?!?!
But more ontopic: snute would be a great addition. He's improving at a steady rate and fits tl's standards.

I think his character and personality (and skill) are a perfect fit for the team. But they do have a lot of zergs now...
Ret TLO Zenio Snute
Taeja
HerO
Hardly an even distribution...
