I think Light is actually a really strong player. The proxy thor rush shouldn't have you nervous. It's actually a really strong build given the meta. It should out right win just about any 1 gate expo build that protoss go these day in PvT. Stork didn't win because he knew Light was going to proxy. Stork probably expected early cc from Light and tried to also 1 base blink all in. if Light went for a different 1 base all in like 1-1-1 he probably would've taken the game, and a good chance of defending it even with a fe build if he scouted it early enough to get a defense. It wasn't Stork out mind gaming or Light choose a bad build. It's more bad luck that Stork blind countered it. The thing that doe worry me about Light is that Woongjin has such a strong line up in Soulkey/Shy/Zero and free is getting tons of play (starting again this week), and Bravo(Hon_sin) is a strong player as well, that Light won't get sent often. I don't think Last is a good enough player to be worth the trade tax. He probably won't take more than 1 game off KHAN. I actually think Woongjin is the strongest team right now, they beat KT and SKT last round and they can certainly do it again. STX is performing quite weak right now, if KHAN is going to win any series this round it will be against STX.

Revival starting again. Effort's ZvZ is pretty good, but if Revival can beat Leenock then this should be doable too. Definitely worth keeping. Speed/Cure starting again, keep carrying Team 8 my man. I think I'll keep Jaedong on my anti for now, not really good choices except maybe HerO, but it's a coin flip between HerO and Jaedong getting sent out anyway so not worth the -1 tax.

STX is performing quite weak right now, if KHAN is going to win any series this round it will be against STX. i agree that it was kind of a dumb luck build order thing, but his execution was pretty bad on it, ( probably cause he realised he was screwed) but he just seemed to walk the thor up and leave it too its fate. I think Light is a good player as well and feel a little jypped cause im pretty sure he beat Stork in a fairly straight up game as recently as the last week of Rnd1. Maybe im just eager to trade and it seems like one of my only viable option. although i also have Taeja and i like your thoughts on that as well. Anyways thx for your input, cool to pick the brain of a former champ =)

I'd say good chance for a Stephano all kill there. I'm going to trade Taeja for Stephano, especially considering Taeja is having wrist problems. Revival starting again. Revival is a cointoss, if he wins that first game he is probably worth keeping but since it's unlikely he will see play second game I'm trading him away for Stork. Agree on Jaedong for anti, if EGTL want a second zerg for the game against CJ they might go with Stephano anyway and HerO is probably more likely to see play than him.

How much time do you need before you're ready to get sent out? I'm going to need about three to four games for each of the new maps so I can get a grasp of them. In just five days, I think I'll have adapted 100%.

I don't think Jaedong is going to play vs CJ. He just finished a tournament in Vegas. We don't even know when he's flying back to korea. He might be too jet lagged to play during the first set of games. Yeah Revival vs Effort is a coin flip, but I'd say he's favored against everyone else on CJ, so I think he's worth keeping in case of a streak. Regardless I actually think Revival is going to be a stable on EGTL. He's much more consistent than JYP/Puma/Zenio, and HerO just haven't had a good performance in team leagues. Taeja/Stephano/Revival is going to be EGTL core with Jaedong/JYP split to round it out the 4th player.. The other players will be used only for specifically prepared snipes if the situation comes up. Stork will see a lot of play but I honestly don't think he's going to do that well. I say he's gonna average 1 win per week in all kill format. ' Stephano can absolutely see play vs CJ. Map 4, 5, and 6 are Cloud Kingdom, Antiga, and Entombed. That's 3 consecutive maps that Stephano is very familiar with. He can easily be used to close out the series on those 3 maps.

It all depends if you think Soulkey is going to close it out vs either KT or SKT. Baby actually has a good chance to get 2 wins vs SKT. He's probably favored on the opening game, and they keep sending him out on Arkanoid so despite a few recent losses on that map He's probably well prepared for the 2nd game. T8 also plays KT this week but I think Soulkey is more likely to score vs KT than Baby would. so that's kind of a wash. Baby can probably get you 4 points safely, but it cost 1 for tax. Soulkey is more likely to close it out for Woongjin stars for 6-7 points IMO. But that's just me man, I think Baby's play is a bit overrated so I might just be biased.

EDIT: After a couple of days thinking... I seem to just love my team+anti as it is, and just can't make myself change it. Yeah, most likely to lose some points this week, but I just think it's worth it for other weeks, compared to the alternative after trading.

Usually there are some nobrainer choices, like trade someone who will likely lose for someone who will likely win... but not for me this time; they are all very mixed up in potential value. yea same, im happy with my antiteam (going to lose a few points as STX and KHAN play each other and my antiteam is hyvaa/trap/stork) and i reckon they will not get me many more after this week. For my main i really want stephano now that he is starting but wooki is the only one i can trade to get him and im not gonna give him up, he seems very reliable for KT. Keeping faith in JYP and revival altho alot of people here seem to doubt one or even both of them is going to play. Hyuk and JyJ have no good trading options so will have to keep them, same for SKT... maybe stephano allkills but maybe he goes foreignermode and loses right off; im not expecting him in the first match for EGTL whereas wooki seems a solid 2nd/3rd or even possible closer for KT (im expecting T8 to win at least one match and stars is the single team that beat KT atm) so he prolly gets playtime and hopefully wins some more... If stephano is going to be played as opener more then im going to regret the decision to keep wooki (unless he also starts often) but i have a feeling i shouldnt trade...

I think i will trade WJS for EGTL. "Easy" week for EGTL, one of the hardest possible for WJS. Not sure about a second trade though :/

But u can also just keep hon_sin. and i would trade for EGTL, stephano might go bossmode and 2/3 kill (or allkill :D) and WJS has way thougher opponents, so see that trade paying of this week

I think the Revival vs Stork argument goes into what risk you want to take, Revival is probably taking 2 points for EGTL wins and then whatever he can grab in the match against CJ (which might well be a all-kill if he wins against Effort). On the other hand Stork should be somewhat favored against Last and one more win is not unreasonable this week.
