Web games and communities still make quite some money. I guess they initially got into it developing websites for it and then landed a contract with OGN, things got big, so they branched off to Korea. I wouldn't be surprised if the Korean branch actually made them most of their revenues now, and they're probably also the driving force behind the AZUBU e-sports ventures (their Facebook account for one is administrated by Koreans only).

Since I live in Berlin, maybe I should try and land a job there to get to know more about AZUBU.

Yeah but how excatly does this make you rich? What also baffles me is that they are german based, I have never heard of them and they are working manly in Korea. I mean you have to be really hardcore into gaming to invest in korea from germany so shouldnt the CEO or any employees be known as esports fanatics?

There's a lot of firms you know nothing about who can have a lot of money.
Their motive to get into esport is a bit obscure tho I feel.

Like, we all know here FXO is a trading firm, but I have no idea what they gain being in esport, since you can't really buy anything from them.
Azubu feel the same to me right now

I wonder if Azubu will be looking to join the GSTL soon... with a few more Code A level pick ups they would have a very solid lineup, certainly stronger than the weakest eSF teams.

Developed by AZUBU Korea Co., LTD.

They didnt create ognlol, they are the sponsor for ognlol. Ognlol has been around even before azubu sponsored them, Azubu also sponsor the 2 strongest korean LoL teams who were formerly known as MiG, Frost and Blaze.

I understand Genius and Sleep, but seriously, Eve and inca? They are terrible and dont really have any value that I see.

Great news. Nice to see really good players find a home with Azubu. If they treat all their players like viOLet then we can expect to see them play at all the big tournaments world wide. I know i'll be cheering for Azubu_Genius!

Maybe inca got better, who knows, I haven't seen him play in such a long time he might be a legitimately good player now

TOP needs to make his return.

Before MMA came on, the best four Terran for the future looked to be Mvp, MKP, Polt and TOP. I've always viewed him as the ultimate rival for Polt. They faced twice in semifinals, with Polt winning one (Super Tourmament) and TOP getting his revenge two seasons later in August before losing to Mvp in the finals. Polt was all micro with terrible macro, and TOP was all macro with terrible micro. Polt was able to transform himself into a complete player, and it felt like TOP was never able to do the same. I want TOP to return to Code S and show that he can become a complete player as well.

There really aren't any good Terran options out there besides him. Except if Azubu is waiting for HoSeo to die so they can pick up jjakji.

TheSTC is good. There is also Ganzi, he used to be decentish, plus the drawback of drama.

I forgot about Quantic dying. Yeah, TheStC is the best out there. I still think TOP has an immense amount of potential if put on an actual team again.

Oh man. I was such a fan of TOP back in the day, but I haven't seen him for so long that I lost faith.

Come back TOP. Your runner up, semi final and Code A championship were no fluke. And he had a voice to make all the fangirls swoon.

Have you looked at their sites? They are basically dead and occupied by spam bots.

Also easily one of the classiest handles, really. There is (was?) nothing bad about that guy.
