Team : ![]() Captain : ![]() Players :
Anti - team : yeOngJae isn't in the lineup at all this week but honestly not really anyone worth trading for under him. Crazy-Hydra has both Reality and EffOrt this week, and without having seen him play yet I'm worried here. Might bite the bullet and look at a trade here. ZerO has Jaedong and Size, at worst I think he'll go 1-1 there. Wooki has Skyhigh and Stork, I think he can 2-0 that, he's looked like a PvP sniper and I'm not particularly impressed with Skyhigh. Finally TaeJa has hOn_sin and Jaehoon, both have performed well thus far but I think those are winnable matches. Motive actually got a line up appearance O_O and Zenio is up against free. might trade one of them here. Any thoughts on trades?

Trade tax removes the lineup appearance point, but I can get 3 points and raise trade value if Hitman snipes RorO and KT wins. You can do it, Hitman! same here and i traded JYP for Wookie. Wookie should win at least vs Stork and win me an extra point for a 3win streak. JYP on the other hand has to win a PvZ on TalDarim to get the 3win point. would be funny if it works out for me, cause i just bought JYP for Week2^^

+ Show Spoiler [Before Week 2] + On December 14 2012 02:45 Ammanas wrote: For me the FPL didnt start very well (somebody could even say quite bad), but I attribute that to being FPL novice. Only ones that scored for my team were Bbyong and Fantasy with Mind and Crazy-Hydra scoring also, because they didnt actually get to play. Flying and hyvaa disappointed a little bit. From the anti-team, Jaehoon has made me lose 4 points, which I didnt like at all. On the other hand, Mini didnt play at all and Bisu lost, so at least something. Getting Woongjin Stars as my team, I kinda question now. Of course, we cannot deduce anything from one match, but STX Soul has impressed me more first week and they cost same amount of points. Trades I have made: None on main team, was thinking about getting rid of Flying, but he is the only protoss on my team, so I would have to either trade him for another protoss or do 2 trades, which is currently not too appealing to me. On anti-team though, I have traded Jaehoon for Stephano. He won't be playing this week for sure, and also probably won't be playing the next week since HSC ends on 22.12 which is next Saturday. If he goes to Korea straight after HSC, he may be playing in match on 25.12. - jetlagged, not prepared etc. Not to mention, that Jaehoon actually has pretty good chance to win his first match (and he will probably lose the second to Rain). Trade worth it, imo. Expected performance (maybe the better name for this section would be "Things I hope for"): Fantasy should be leading the charge for me as my captain, I really expect him to win both his matches. Neither hOn_sin nor Ryul2 should be too much of a problem for him. Bbyong plays against JD and Trap next week. I fully expect JD to lose, mainly after what he showed against Hack. Versus Trap it should be 50/50 and I hope he can beat him too. Wont be too surprised if he loses though. Crazy-Hydra plays only one match and thats against Flying, whom I also have on my team, so if it comes to that match, I will get points from it whatever happens. Mind plays Jaehoon and hOn_sin, both on Arkanoid (he was also scheduled to play on Arkanoid in the EG-TL match), so he seems like a sniper for this map. Hopefully he has some good builds prepared. Flying plays soO and C-H. Against soO its gonna be very hard. I actually dont expect him to win. Will see though, maybe he has some ace up his sleeve. He only trains PvZ for this week, so if he doesnt do 10 min mothership, he may stand a chance. Agains C-H it doesnt really matter, I have some points from that match either way. And finally, hyvaa plays against hOpe and Effort. He only has to train ZvZ which is good. I think he should beat hOpe and stand a fair chance against Effort, so this is his chance to redeem himself after losing last week. And now to some predictions! + Show Spoiler [Saturday] + KT vs T8 Baby and Flash should take their games. I would give a slight edge to Mind on Arkanoid because of the map. Wooki and Terminator should be 50/50, I would give a slight edge to Wooki (just cause Terminator is bad and nobody can convince me otherwise even if he wins GSL in the near future). The other T8 players are unknown to me and they definitely can surprise, but I think Action and Stats are solid enough to warranty KT victory 4:1 or 4:2. WJS vs SKT sHy and Soulkey should win their matches, Fantasy and Rain should win theirs. This will all come to Flyings and ZerO matches. At least one of them will have to win to get it to ace. Both will have it very tough and I am not sure if they can do it. Will definitely root for them though. Its either gonna be 4:2 SKT or 4:3 SKT with Rain winning vs Soulkey in ace. + Show Spoiler [Sunday] + STX vs KHAN 4:2 STX with hyvaa, Dear, Bogus and Trap winning. It will be up to Reality to prove me wrong, win his match against Bogus, get it to ace, where Bogus will kill ![]() CJ vs EGTL Bbyong, Taeja, herO[jOin], HerO will win their matches. SonGDuri vs Thorzain, I really dont know. Everything seems to b favouring Thorzain, but... he is foreigner. And EffOrt vs JYP is battle of i-dont-know-how-to-beat-toss vs I-dont-know-if-I-slump-or-I-have-always-been-so-bad. It will come up to if CJ can win both - SonGDuri vs Thorzain and EffOrt vs JYP. If they can, they win 4:2. If they cant, EG wins 4:2 or 4:3 in ace. + Show Spoiler [Monday] + KT vs WJS Soulkey, Flash, sHy, Mind, Wooki, Flying win their matches, imo. Then it is up to ace and the question is if they can snipe Flash. imo they cant. KT 4:3 T8 vs SKT I wanted to say this is gonna be onesided, but.. First game I dont really know either player, so I dont know who can win. Baby should have an edge over Best, but he certainly can take it also. Fantasy wins afterwards. 4th game is once again like cointoss for me, dont know. Rain and soO win. SKT is gonna take it, question is only how much they win. if everything goes right for T8 (Baby wins, both unknown games are won by T8 players) then SKT wins 4:3. If not, SKT wins 4:2 or 4:1. Either way, SKT wins. + Show Spoiler [Tuesday] + STX vs CJ Last, Bogus, Bbyong, herO[jOin], Dear are gonna take their matches. Then it comes down to hyvaa vs EffOrt. if hyvaa wins, STX wins 4:2. If EffOrt wins, STX wins 4:3 in ace (Bogus takes down herO[jOin], my wil guess). KHAN vs EGTL EGTL 4:2 with HerO, Taeja, Puma, JD winning their games. + Show Spoiler [After week 2] + On December 20 2012 00:54 Ammanas wrote: Some of my thoughts if anyone's interested! Currently ranked at 726 which is much better then about 2.5k place I was in after first week. I am kinda OK with this, but I was (and still am) aiming for more. Not bad for first time FPL though ^^ Captain ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, what can I say. After not so convincing start, they managed to 4:0 KT and 4:3 SKT which netted me nice 10 points this week and 9 points overall. Keeping them. On anti-team I will probably keep them all, although if Bisu plays and Light doesn't I may trade them. Same goes for Mini -> Light. Have to see the lineups. Lineups are up, let's see matchups and trading (it doesnt look good. at all.): Main team: Captain ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And finally ![]() ![]() It's actually hard to decide whether to keep them or not. They have two very hard matchups in EGTL and STX. Against EGTL, I cannot see them win unless it is in ace match. I don't see Flying winning over HerO or hOn_sin against Taeja, so that leaves us with 3 out of sHy, Soulkey, free and ZerO have to win. And all of them are gonna have it tough, matchups are not favourable against them. I can see them losing. And against STX? I actually think it may end 4:0. Imo, all 4 STX players are going into the maches as favourites. If I could guarantee, that next week I will be able to trade STX back for WJS, I would have traded. But as it is now, I will probably keep them, cause next week they are going against T8 and Khan, which should result in a lot of points. Anti-team: ![]() ![]() And ![]() Trades: ![]() ![]() If anyone got any tips who to trade ![]()

One possible trade for Mind is Hitman, he seems to be a sniper for Bifrost, last time he won a ZvT vs BaBy with a crazy strat (5 mutas into roachdrops into fast broods on 3 bases) quite convincingly and he has anohter ZvT on Bifrost this week. I myself got Hitman for yeOngJae

Maybe Jaehoon for this week, seeing he plays Bogus and Taeja? Last plays Baby and sHy, so maybe him? If I had to pick some, I would take Jaehoon this week... But Reality plays Rain in one of the matches, so maybe you can keep him.

luckily i have a very VERY good player (BBYONG BROS)that has earned me 9 points, half of my total score including antis lol, and SKT1 was an insanely good pick for a team man, 11 points haha

![]() Now I am even trading Zenio for Stephano. Other than that hero[join] gave me amazing points, but I don't think he is the 2nd best proleague player, especially PvP looked like his worst matchup. Will trade him for Soulkey who has better matchup and also should be the ace almost always. Because I need one protoss on the team, I will trade Crazy-Hydra (who only was on because of his match vs Huk which didnt happen). Terminator is underrated for his points I think. He qualified for GSL season 4 and won his first 3 matches there 2:0 (one against Polt).

Going to trade SoO for either Hero or Taeja. (got Fantasy and Best but they look so much worse) SoO got two vZ this week, he looked pretty terrible against Effort so don't want to chance when I can trade for some GREAT players. Taeja got the "harder" opponents, Sin and Jaehoon. Both are 2-0 and have showed some good stuff against Terran, Sin especially taking out both Fantasy and Mind. Hero on the other hand got the weaker ones, Flying and Check. The vP shouldn't be a problem since Hero is so much more experienced and diffidently not the vZ against Check. But in the 1st game he's out 5th and I expect him to play since WJS lineup look good. The second game however I doubt he will get the play, coming out 7th and against T8. So take a "risk" with Taeja and go for a 8p or play "safe" with Hero and only 5p =/

But it's a huge gamble. @Tobbish : soO plays Hydra and JuNi. Hydra already won a ZvZ against hyvaa while JuNi is unknown (and possibly bad) TaeJa plays Sin and Jaehoon and both of them are performing better than expected while TaeJa had a considerable slow-down lately. He won against Bong but Bong is probably just plain bad. HerO plays check whom he should beat easily and Flying who didn't win a game yet. However Flying qualified for Code A and could surprise HerO on Ohana (because it's PvP) I don't think you should trade at all but if you do, you should choose HerO on the assumption that he is still on a roll.
