Unfortunately, I think this is too little too late. With the interviews from the Chinese programers the other day and how big the moba scene has gotten, I think SC2 is all but dead as an esport in China.

If you want to buy Chinese version with $15, you have to registry CN Battle.net account via Chinese ID and Chinese phone number to verify. It's very complicated to, anyway we don't know that HOTS is only available to play CN Server or global ( I think they could create an internal server for Chinese only ). IMO still worth a shot =) edit: Didn't mention that ETisMe already said that On November 30 2012 02:34 ETisME wrote: they said the deal is because they aren't sure of when hots will be released in china please don't make me find the source, just cleared my history Not sure about global play but chinese wol works differently, they have a distributor over there. probably gonna be the same for hots

No twitter or facebook without some sort of weird work around. Poeple need to stop freaking out about this, China is a weird land when it comes to the internet. They are always going to get really weird prices on games and expansions due to the market size and their weird internet restrictions.
